Owner is a good guy, but the problem is he has a resort and hostel together and there is no concentration on hostel at all. All I had to do was all myself, no checkin assistance, no greet and welcome, broken furniture, geyser not working, I was all alone and nobody was there I could have gone without paying. It’s strictly not recommended by any means, the place is not qualified for travellers.

Ok the room, nothing special, really good the breakfast, the owner have good deals for the activities

The owner is very friendly and arranges tours and car rides. He goes the extra mile to ensure you have the best experience possible! The breakfast and dinner were delicious! We could use the resort's pool! I stayed for three nights and when I arrived, the bathroom was dirty and it wasn't cleaned until the day I left. There were a few scary dogs on the street in the evening. It's also about 45 minutes to Dambulla city or 8 minutes by tuk-tuk.

Das Personal ist super freundlich und hat uns abends sogar noch mit auf einen Berg genommen um mit uns den Sonnenuntergang zu schauen. Unterkunft eher klein und ohne Gemeinschatsraum oder Ähnliches

Closest hostel to the cave temples. Owner was outgoing and staff were friendly. Did a free sunset hike, major plus. Breakfast and dinner were great ($ but good value). They generously let me use the pool at the other property but I don't know if this was just a down season perk. Great value overall, would recommend.

J'ai passé un bon séjour dans cet hôtel, le personnel était très gentil et la chambre fonctionnelle. Les excursions qui m'ont été proposées étaient chouettes.

Good for one night to visit the temple, which can be reached by 10min walk. The barhroom was not that clean and nice, but the stuff is doing a great job!!!

Very enthusiastic and friendly owner, the food was good and we could use the pool! :) they also took us for a sunset walk to a beautiful viewpoint which I really enjoyed!

It was a very nice place to stay together with the luxury resort. just the hostel by its own seemed a little empty and the area to chill with other travellers could be bigger. the staff was very helpful and nice

Great private room, great staff, great owner of the place, great food, beautiful pool !! It was a amazing place close to the city but feel like outside, it was quiet and we slept well.

Fantastic hostel. I wouldn’t have been able to get as much out of Dambulla as I did without the help of the staff and the owner. Great dinner, great breakfast, and the sunset walk was a true highlight of my time in Sri Lanka so far. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Fantastic place! With a 10/10 dinner menu, cold beer by the pool, the friendliest owner who will help you with EVERYTHING. Perfectly located next to the cave temple. Cool LED’s in the dorms. Can’t recommend this place enough. Lots of friendly travellers going through it as well.

We had a warm welcome and even got a free walking tour during an amazing sunset. The host was super friendly, the breakfast was great, and there was even a pool. We stayed in the dorm and the beds were really comfortable. I would definitely come back – you get a lot for the money.

Great place! Such a kind and helpful team. Helped me organise so many things and for a great price too. The dorms were clean, curtains, mosquito nets, plug sockets and lockers (with lock) and everything worked. I stayed in the female dorm and can stay as a women travelling by self - I felt very comfortable and safe here.

Host very welcoming and helpful, same for staff. Buffet dinner delicious and accommodating. Pool grand although chlorine stained a white item. Rooms were nice with mosquito nets and bed screens.

Super liebes Personal! Es wurde extra ein Kuchen aus der Stadt organisiert und mit „happy Birthday beschriftet“ als ich darum geben habe, meinen Freund zu überraschen. Der Fahrer ist auch sehr herzlich, wir haben eine Tour gebucht und sind zusammen mit ihm auf den Berg gestiegen und haben den Sonnenuntergang geschaut.

Really nice stay! Bed and bathrooms nice and clean. The staff were super kind and helpful.
