Great stay I genuinely enjoyed it a lottt. The vibe and the activities they have are genuinely amazing

The Hosteller Rishikesh Upper tapovan is super fun, I came with friends, I had a time of my life, would surely visit again!

Good place to stay but with stereotypes. I went with my parents and they told me "you know this is not an hotel, this is an hostel". I talk to some people whereas others where just staying between them. The breakfast is not welcoming... but the rooms are big with enough space and as a woman I had a special girl room.

Why does evrything needs to be through a app... whenever you wanna order something in the cafeteria the only way is through a app. The check-in process also not very friendly... They don't have fans on the bed which is weird because almost every hostel in the world have fans. Overall the staff anf crowd was really weird and I didn't like the energy here!

Didnt have the best experience because the people in the room were very noisy but this could have been a coincidence.

I had an amazing experience at The Hosteller. The property was clean, well-maintained, and had a great vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. The rooms were comfortable, the common areas were lively, and the overall atmosphere made it easy to meet new people.I also loved the location—convenient, safe, and close to everything I wanted to explore. Whether you’re a solo traveler or in a group, this is a perfect place to stay.

Overall good stay

The room was great, very clean and roomy with a nice view. The area was great with lots of little cafes around us away from the main highway. However, it was noisy at night with other people playing music loudly and yelling until 2am

Had a great stay at The Hosteller Upper Tapovan! The dorms were really comfortable and clean, and the washrooms were well-maintained. The food was tasty and freshly prepared. I especially loved the view from the café — absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the Hosteller Tapovan

Sometimes the male staff would enter the female dorm with little notice. Overall, great hostel

Worst hostel experience of my life. Paid much, nothing worked properly. Checking took 30 mins, asked more info than the visa. They don't accept cash or card, only pay through an app that didn't work. So I couldn't even order food. I had to change closet because it didn't close. I had to change bed because the AC could't be stopped. I came here to work, connection didn't work. Staff didn't help. Power went out twice in half an hour, so I had to leave. They refused a refund

This place was awesome ! The staff were very helpful with assisting me. Any problems I had they were very professional too help me in rishikesh. The food was amazing and the place was clean and very friendly . I highly recommend it

A solid hostel overall. But you don't get keys or keycards for the female dorm so it is impossible to lock unless everybody goes to bed at the same time, this has made the experience there very unsafe.

The property was relatively quiet at night, for sleeping, and its location was decent—away from heavy traffic noise & close to restaurants and yoga studios. However, if you need to work while traveling, be aware that the WiFi was completely unusable during our four-night stay. Additionally, the room had a strong mothball smell, and we had to burn multiple incense sticks to get rid of it.

Good beds and amazing showers. The staff seems impersonal, and check-in is online. There was a leak in the common area upstairs.

Really nice hostel, good location and the staff were so helpful! Could do with a bit of a deep clean but nothing major. Would definitely stay again!
