Blue Jay Hostel Rishikesh

Was solid for one night. Don’t think it’s too social but we only stayed for one night and for that it was okay.

It was my first time in Rishikesh.My friend suggested me to visit this great place. I loved the dormitory. It was neat and clean with all basic facilities like shampoo, shower gel. They also provide hair dryer in the dormitory which was great in this winter season. Common area was much more spacious with foosball, carrom and there was big screen. Terrace had awesome view. Cafe had limited food but it was delicious. Evening time was best with bonfire at restaurant area.

Blue Jay hostel was a fine place for one night. However, the dorm was me + a group of 5 male friends who did not respect that it was a dorm, not their private room. Lights and chatter were on at all hours. The staff did not provide any place to securely store luggage - only an accessible common room. The staff was really pushy about 10am checkout and I was asked repeatedly when I was checking out, even though I had not gone past the time. For one night it was fine but I wouldn't stay again.

El piso estaba sucio cuando me entregaron la habitacion, Demasiado ruido interior, todo se escucha ya sea gente caminando por la escalera o cuando cierran puertas. Pareciera que las ventanas exteriores no funcionan porque se escuchaba todo el ruido exterior.

Blue jay is off Badrinath road, and is a very good hostel to stay in. I stayed in the dorms for 2 nights as well as a private room for 1 night. Faced no troubles. Very neat and clean. Close by places to eat includes Anna mess (50 metres), the 60s cafe (200 metres) Lakshman jhula is very close to the hostel and is at a walking distance.

Extremely clean, wonderful staff, privacy curtains in tim rooms, running hot water and free locker under the bed to keep luggage were some of the positives about my one night stay at Blue Jay. I definitely recommend staying here.

Pretty clean, but not really any atmosphere. Staff were unhelpful in booking taxis and I think booking rafting through the hostel is much more expensive than one of the vendors. Overall decent, but current rating is way too high.

The people working here are amazingly friendly. Location is great too. Only thing, like the others mentioned, it’s not so much energy in the hostel so when you’re looking for other travelers to meet, go look somewhere else. Cafés, events, and yoga classes and stuff.

Overall good staying experience, would definitely visit again. Staff was helpful. Felt they were overcharging a bit though.

Really nice rooms with great showers, and a nice common area - feels more like a hotel than a hostel. Staff were very helpful. Our only complaint is that there was no atmosphere at all, everyone staying there seemed to be in Rishikesh for work and the common area was always empty in the evenings. Great if you just want a nice place to sleep but not so good if you want to meet people.

Very clean property... They have top roof cafe in 4th floor.. they serve amazing food there... Reception staff is very helpful and friendly specially Hema.. Ritesh.. Hemant and Nikita..i had wonderful stay here..all staff is very helpful.

Had great time at this lovely hostel.

It was second visit to this lovely place. Alredy been here before COVID time. Atmosphere is great. Common area is my favourite place. Dorm is lovely with nice facilities. Location is great and it is easy to reach all the attraction.Staffs were great like before. I am definitely coming back again.

It was awesome place to stay.I enjoyed a lot here. Loved the atmosphere, common area is the attraction for every one.
