No locks for toilet and shower doors.No locks for baggage wardrope. No trash bin in toilet.It says there is wifi but there wasnt.I asked them and they told me there is wifi only in reception (building 300 metres away from rooms with 50 width and 2 metres length).No charge outlets near beds neither.There's no space that you can open your baggage.Not even hostel, they just rent rooms in a apartment. 1 bunk and 3 single beds near each other without space.You sleep with strangers face to face.

This is not a real hostel, be careful!!! It's just some guy renting out some appartement he happens to own and that's about it, everything inside of that room is basically falling apart and it's 100% not up to code or anything like that, also only cash payments allowed... The only nice thing about this place was the location as it's in Riomagiorne in Cinque Terre but other than that and the nice guy who shows you where the room is located its the worst of the worst.

Views from the room are decent but the quality of the room was not upto the mark for the prices paid. Blankets and bed sheets were smelly, furniture in bad condition and bed bugs at night.

Non è un ostello, non ci sono spazi comuni, è una vecchia casa in cui in ogni stanza sono stati inseriti più letti possibili. Porte e finestre non possono essere chiuse perchè diversi infissi sono rotti. La pulizia è inesistente. C’è solo un bagno! Quest’ultimo presenta una doccia/vasca praticamente inutilizzabile, non si si sta seduti ne in piedi, funziona un piccolo doccino e non ha tenda, quindi il bagno risulta allagato ad ogni doccia per chi riesce ad utilizzarla. Pésimo servicio el dueño del hostal super mala persona, ubicación pésima cuesta arriba tienes que subir muchas escaleras para llegar y tienes que hacer check in en una ubicación diferente que esta para la estación del tren y solo quiere efectivo pero esta muy muy lejos el hostal tienes que caminar y subir mucho! Muy mal si traes maletas no te dejes llevar x el precio hay hoteles más baratos y mejor ubicación

Not as advertised. It is not a hostel! Just old beds in an old unclean room. Wasn’t unstayable, but I would definitely have preferred staying somewhere nicer. Way too high a price for what it is - you could get a clean airbnb for the same cost.

Come here at your own risks. Do not expect anything else than a bed to sleep in. Broken windows, poorly cleaned, no lockers, garden is in a poor state, lot of mosquitoes. No AC in a very small room for 6 that is only made of 6 beds and 1 fan ; heat is awful. No protection for water splash in the only shower (12 people in the « hostel »). 1 hand washer, no shampoo, nothing. Only bed, mosquitoes and hopefully some sleep.

Do not stay here. Accommodations are not accurate, wifi doesn’t work, one bathroom for everyone staying there, shower head is not mounted, bug infested, windows do not shut during storms. Floor are dirty and gross, nothing is clean. This is just the beginning. The owner was loud working on things early in the morning. Terrible place.

Auberge de jeunesse la pire que j'ai pu faire en 30 ans. Accueil dans un lieu qui sent le renfermé. Le personnel de l'accueil pas très sympathique. On a du payé en cash une nuit à 50€/pers, avec des lits des années 60 avec des sangles d'attaches sur les lits genre lits d'hôpital psychiatrique, pas de couverture, dessus de lit sale ... Nous avons eu très froid. La propreté est plus qu'à revoir, tout est encombré de bric à brac... Enfin... n'y allez pas, c'est une catastrophe. ⁸

There is no ambiance and no security (there are no lockers so you have to trust the people not to steal anything in the room. There are no services and no reception outside of a few hours per day. Also the sleeping area is small, we were crammed. This being said the room had comfortable beds, a small kitchen with fridge, the room was clean and right on the main street of Riomaggiore, which is great during the day, but bring something to block your ears at night.

What a beautiful place. Wow. book it.

Beware that this is not a real hostel. It’s more like different apartments being rented out. The dorm with the sea view has an amazing view but that’s about it. It’s not really clean and if you get “bad roommates” you might feel very unsafe as it is more like a Airbnb. Also the hostel’s reception is at the beginning of the main street in Riomaggiore after the big steps and not where it says to be on google maps.

there aren't any lockers available and when i wanted to extend my stay there was no way to contact the owners and booking an extra night was't possible because it is a minimum of two nights. location is perfect and i met some nice people.

Le personnel est très disponible et fait de son mieux pour faciliter votre séjour ! Par exemple, ma chambre n’était pas au sommet du village car j’avais une grande valise. I stayed in a four bed dorm with the terrace. The terrace was really beautiful and the dorm has AC which was great. The layout is a bit intresting so you’ll sleep a bit cramped together. However that creates a nice sense of community. Be aware that you can only pay in cash even though it’s doesn’t say that on hostel word.

This “hostel” is more a collection of apartments the owner puts beds in. I received a stay right above the main street of Riomaggiore. Cash only. The owner has strict check in/check out but he was very kind to us. He let us see the property before paying. The layout of the beds was a little strange (1 bunk, 3 singles) otherwise I couldn’t ask for a better stay. The cleaner came twice during my stay promptly after each person left. Nice location with a pretty view. My room at lots of spiders + spiderwebs in every corner. The shower in the bathroom didn’t drain either

More intimate than expected, no dividers or walls in between the beds in the dorm cabin, so you are sleeping head to head with the other guests haha. The place was clean and beautiful though, great location and very good air conditioning.

This is a unique hostel. The company rents different apartments throughout the town so it’s hard to know which one you’ll get. I was nervous that I would have to walk up a lot of stairs but my particular apartment was in a great location with very few steps. It was however above the only bar there playing music until 2 am very loud. Strongly recommend ear plugs.

Very much a summer camp feeling - the room I was in was a wooden cabin with 3 beds, bathroom, and kitchenette. No lockers or anything like that, but didn't have any concern as the people in my room were lovely. The property is at the very top of hill in Riomaggiore so be prepared for a nice walk haha, but the views from the terrace are gorgeous. this spot was not as advertised but definitely not bad at all. the room i stayed in was small but had a full kitchen and lots of outdoor seating with a really nice view of the water! it’s a ways up through the main town, but 5-10 minute walk from the train station which was super convenient
