Our room at the arrival was full of midges. The staff did not do anything about it, no appologies, no refund. They only gave us a candle (without a lighter, so we had to went out and buy one) but it did not work at all. Generally, the staff didn't have any interest in solving our problem. We then come up with our own solution and asked for a hoover to get rid of the insects, which meant we spent 2 hours cleaing the room before we had it relatively comfortable. Terrible experience.
Je m'apprêtais à laisser un très bon retour jusqu'à avoir une mésaventure. En effet, nous avions laissé plus de 20 € de nourriture (certains aliments encore emballés !) dans le frigo, afin de préparer plusieurs repas. I was about to leave a very good return until I had a mishap. in fact, we had left over 20€ of food (some food still packaged!) in the fridge, in order to prepare several meals. what a surprise when we discovered the fridge was empty! the employee simply apologized for throwing everything in the trash can without any solutions (we hadn't eaten anything anymore). i find it shameful to throw unopened food, it's scandalous !!

The price is not terrible, the kitchen is outdated, but well placed.
What a great place to stay in the heart of Connemara. The staff were lovely and friendly and the breakfast was nice in the morning. The lounge area was lovely and we got a fire going in the log burner for extra coziness. The beds were really comfortable. We stayed in room 11 which had 2 sets of bunk beds and a single with en-suite shower. The only thing to improve was the laundry room. Great facility but there were clothes left in there for ages and it felt like it was overlooked.
Fantastic place to stay (as long as you’ve got a car)! Such clean and spacious common areas with a fully functioning kitchen to make your own dinners in. The staff were so helpful and lovely, I mentioned checking out very early the next day and the reception staff at the time offered to pack me a wee breakfast (as I would miss the 8am free breakfast-also fantastic!) It is a beautiful place to base yourself and enjoy the national park and all the hikes and activities on offer.

Le lieu est INCROYABLE et magnifique Possible de se baigner juste à côté, mais un peu isolé si on a pas de voiture (mais on se débrouille en bus !) Tout le monde est super sympa, les chambres sont grandes et propres… nous avons adoré
The place is INCREDIBLE and beautiful It is possible to swim right next door, but a bit isolated if you don't have a car (but you can manage by bus !) Everyone is super friendly, the rooms are large and clean... we loved it
