Zostel Kochi (Fort Kochi)

Its too basic. room doesnt have lock, lockers dont have keys. Probably the most basic looking zostel out there

Worst hostel we’ve stayed at. Staff rude and disrespectful. Absolutely no vibe or engagement with guests. All staff blaring music until early hours with no consideration for guests or even their own guidelines for guests. Location is alright but don’t be fooled by the photos. The place is rundown and has absolutely no community feeling at all. My advice is to stay away.

This property was not as good as the other Zostels are.

Auberge un peu morte, les chambres sont assez petite et d'un confort assez basique, très sombre, ce n' est pas très propre, il y a beaucoup de chat errant, du coup leur odeur d'urine et compagnie est très présente dans l'auberge. Par contre l'environnement est calme et le gars de la réception était plutôt sympathique. De l'eau filtré est disponible ainsi que de l'eau chaude. Il y a aussi des casiers, il faut avoir son cadenas

The place was nice but didn’t feel safe. The staff would drink and have dinner on the top floor leaving no one at the front desk. Doors open, anyone could come in. The one guy said he had business selling coffee and just works at the hostel for fun. Did seem professional (especially drinking on the job). I’ve stayed at many zostels and I wasn’t happy with my stay here sadly.

It was just not anything I was expecting. Negative vibes. They even scam tourists with bike rental asking 800inr when there is a bike shop 2min away asking 400.

Sadly, we were kept awake past 12 for two nights in a row, and on one night until 4am, despite asking for some quiet. The room was fairly clean except stains on the sheets which we were told were mosquitos and weren't changed. The staff are friendly but don't seem very professional, and one had to be woken up from sleeping next to the front desk to answer a question I had. However, it is a good location.In short, if we could have slept well, it would have been ok.

Please work a bit on the washrooms. The taps had very slow flow of water.

Basically an house building modified , donot have direct vehicle access or no parking facility. Less common area space . Overall to stay okay. Staff are friendly. If Been to other destination Zostel , keep slighter low expectations on looks

My stay at Zostel was absolutely amazing. The place was warm, comfortable, and had such a welcoming vibe. I met some really wonderful people, which made the experience even more special. The property managers were incredibly kind, friendly, and always helpful, making sure everything felt smooth and easy. Overall, it was nothing less than perfect and definitely a stay I’ll remember for a long time.

Me and my friend booked for one night. At the end we stayed three nights in Zostel. We really enjoyed the familiar atmosphere, the cats and that we met nice travellers all around from India:)

Honestly one of my favourite Zostel properties. This was the second time I stayed here and it definitely exceeded all expectations. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming and the overall vibe is great. The architecture is so beautiful you could spend all day sitting around and just admiring the place. Highly recommended.

Security non existent, not even any keys for the rooms and everything is totally open. Rooms smelt damp and bathrooms were dated. Do not be fooled by the pictures!!

Assolutamente grandioso

I travel quite a bit, but this is honestly one of the best trips ever! The complete credit goes to the hostel vibe! Praveen is the BEST HOST EVER! He gave real nice recommendations and gave us super company as well. The hostel is also located close to popular cafes & tourist spots. The bathrooms are also clean & well maintained. Overall, Kochi wouldn't have been the beautiful Kochi for us if not for this Zostel. ❤️

Nice staff and location!

The location is good, the rooms (especially bathrooms) are ok but don’t expect anything special. There were some small gatherings happening but nothing initiated by the hostel which could be improved.

Very nice very chill hostel. Lots of balconies and seating areas for a very nice vibe. Staff is very kind and helpful. Highly recommend

Hostel was really unclean, mould all over the bathroom which wasn’t cleaned during our stay. Shower was grim. AC didn’t work well and so was hot in a small room that was moist and sticky from the lack of ventilation of the adjoining bathroom. Staff weren’t helpful at all. Messaged Kochill staff to help us out with booking stuff - they were fantastic, would recommend them!

Lovely Place, amazing location nestled in the heart of Fort Kochi and everything is extremely walkable. The staff are attentive and kind and the place is brimming with a lovely atmosphere
