I don’t recommend this place the lady in charge she is very negative and rude very ugly with very horrible carácter

This hostel was way too quiet for me. I stayed for two weeks and I was the only person in the 8 bed room that whole time. I hated it because I go to hostels to socialize. Others might love it. The location is good. The staff were helpful. The light in the room is too dim so it was hard to read. The kitchen is good. One advantage over other hostels is that I did not have to walk up a flight of stairs to get to my room.
Very comfortable and quiet place. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms clean and the hostel had a cool vibe. Not a social hostel was very quiet most of the time.
Das Hostel hat einen schöne Dachterasse und der Besitzer hat sich sehr viel Mühe gegebene einem Tips und Infos zu der Stadt zu geben.
The hostel has a nice roof terrace and the Owner has gone to great lengths to give you tips and information about the city.
Hostel bien situé et personnel sympathique. Les lits sont grands malheureusement j'ai eu la surprise de trouver une punaise de lit dans mon sac après mon passage chez eux. Également la douche ne fonctionnait pas dans mon dortoir il fallait donc traverser tout le hall pour aller se doucher. Le rez de chaussée est très sombre et il n'y avait pas grand monde quand je suis venue, ça fait une atmosphère bizarre. Ils proposent une navette pour aller à l'aéroport.

Really great, central hostel. Area was quiet but felt safe. Loved the rooftop with amazing city views, our room (private) was a great size and included tv and powerful overhead fan. Kitchen was well equipped, although things like salt, oil and coffee are not provided. The separate dining room was a nice space as well. The staff were really friendly and helpful. As others have said, not very sociable. Also, our room opened directly onto reception area, which was always occupied.

This place doesn't offer special rates for long-term stays, so most guests are tourists, not locals. Ask about tours; my favorite is the one to Mazamitla. English-speaking guides will pick you up at the hostel door at no additional cost.

I had such an amazing time at The Roof Packpacker!! The staff is super nice and helped me a lot recommanding me what I could visit :) the rooftop is so nice and the rooms too !! I recommande 100%

I really enjoyed my stay here! The staff was very very kind friendly and helpful :)The bed was very comfortable and facility is very clean and cozy. Very close distance to everything! Also Hot showers and quiet nights. I would definitely stay here again!

The beds here are amazing - so big and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and booked us into a tequila tour. We were only here for a couple of nights on a quick stop so it didn’t matter too much to us but there was quite a lack of atmosphere in the hostel.
I got a lot of help from the guys at the reception, they were very patient with me cause I'm always too forgetful. Thanks for you help Lupita and Juanito, hope to see you soon, if I don't get lost again...
