Hotel Chateau Georgette

+ Helemaal niets! Het hotel had een hele negatieve vibe. Benauwend en niet zoals de website doet denken.

- Het personeel, de warmte, vliegen en rommelige uitstraling.

+ Området där den befinner sig.

- Dålig kvalitet på lakanen och handdukarna. Handfatet svämmade över. Många lampor fungerade inte rummet. Fick betala extra för luftkonditioneringen😳. Fick betala musikskatt för att ett band spelade medan vi åt middag.

+ Bardzo słabe, na kawę czekalismy 20 min. Kawy w pokoju nie bylo, nie uzupelniali. 3 listki szynki na 3 osiby, dwa banany i jeden jogurt. Sok bardzo niedobry, po jednym jajku na osobe i 5 tostow na 3 osoby, wszystko na wyliczone..dramat.

+ L’hôtel est très très beau dans un endroit magnifique Le restaurant du soir, si le cuisiner est là sa cuisine est extraordinaire Mais… je ne recommande absolument pas

- Le petit déjeuner en dessous de tout. Seul endroit dans tous les voyages où il y’a eu un écriteau : vous avez droit à deux cafés si vous en voulez un de plus il sera facturé. Incroyable On s’est retrouvé avec les valises devant la porte fermée. La dame du ménage a pendu les serviettes de toilettes qui étaient au sol ( à cause de la douche qui coulait dans la chambre) plutôt que les changer. Service déplorable j’ai dû réclamer chaque élément du petit déjeuner ( on parle juste de pain !) et nous n’étions que 4 pour un hôtel sois disant complet.

+ La qualité du restaurant heureusement présent au regard du vide sidéral de tout type de services sur cette île. La beauté de la suite malgré ses incongruités architecturales.

- La personne de la réception semblait lasse en permanence, à la moindre demande. L'absence de service de transfert. L'absence d'eau chaude dans la douche. La piscine très froide. L'absence d'ascenseur. Le petit-déjeuner plus que rudimentaire, sans fruits frais alors que l'île en regorge ! La structuration de la chambre dépourvue de la moindre intimité et par conséquent, indécente : pas de séparation entre les toilettes et la chambre, douche italienne non séparée de la chambre (et mal conçue : inondation apres chaque douche et obligation deponger le sol!!)ainsi que la baignoire (mal fixée au sol...). Un plan de cuisine central magnifique...mais sans couverts ni casseroles !! Absence de rideau, absence de volets. Des travaux dans le jardin, en plein après-midi empêchant de se reposer sur le transat (faute de se baigner au vu de la température de l'eau de la piscine !!)

+ The Paul Valley is a beautiful location. Many of the staff are friendly and helpful, particularly the evening bar staff, the owner and her family. The food was nice. Sadly it didn’t offset how unwell we were made to feel at the start and at points through our stay

- We had high expectations based on the reviews and the helpful, friendly communication ahead of our stay. However the saying first impressions count rings true - we received no welcome, despite arriving at a prearranged time by the taxi arranged by the hotel! Being told we were too early, our room wasn’t ready and we could not use the hotels facilities till later. Trying to get a coffee, some lunch and eventually being let in our room was hard work, nothing was offered, the main impression we were given was that everything we were asking for was just too much effort.

+ Hotel had amazing view both from the room and from the terrace where we had breakfast. In general the room was nicely furnished and was very spacious. There is not much choice in hotel in Paul so it was a good one in terms of location. A big plus for a bath with a view and good water pressure and its temperature, although it happened twice there was cold water and no water at all, which is normal on the island anyway. Breakfast was tasty but the same every day, which is also standard on the island.

- - there was a mold on the ceiling and in the shower - restaurant food was very average, not worth its price (we ordered grilled fish (too salty), catchupa and waited 1 hour, a second chance was grilled chicken and a burger), we recommend different places on the island to eat - 0 isolation, we could hear all the noise from the restaurant - smell of the kitchen in all the hotel, also in the room - there was an incident when we came back after 10 pm and the entrance code was changed and we had to wait 30 min for someone to hear our knocking

+ Friendly atmosphere and civilized conditions and very good food from a well organized kitchen. All around a good stay.

+ L’emplacement le côté charmant de l’hôtel (décoration) ainsi que la restauration

- Pas de rideaux occultants aux fenêtres (avantage : vue sur la montagne / inconvénient: reveil tôt le matin). Salle de bain dénote par rapport à la chambre.

+ Bel établissement, propre et confortable Très bon petit déjeuner Très bon accueil

- La piscine n’est pas chauffé La restauration n’est pas à la hauteur de l’établissement Les 2 premiers jours aucune musique, un silence pesant. Cela a été rétabli pour notre dernier jour

+ Accueil très gentil de Mélanie. La chambre est spacieuse, bien tenue et calme.

+ Prachtige locatie, fijne kamers met een schitterend uitzicht. Je zit midden tussen alle mooie wandel routes.

- Het zwembad en de stoelen er omheen waren nogal vies en stoffing. Het was daardoor geen fijne plek om te zitten.

+ Chambre spacieuse, lit et matelas très confortable, personnel agréable et bonne localisation pour plusieurs randonnées. Nous avons aussi très bien mangé, les repas et petit déjeuner étaient juste parfait

- Eau tiède à la douche, et vite fait d’inonder la salle de bain avec la douche italienne plate.

+ Très bel établissement à la décoration originale.Personnel très professionnel Bon restaurant et excellent petit dejeuner

+ Emplacement stratégique pour randonner dans la vallée de Paul. Chambre (suite) très spacieuse, excellente literie. Petit déjeuner varié et copieux, restauration de qualité, bons cocktails. Réactions rapides du personnel lors de nos sollicitation. Digicode d'accès.

- Je ne vois pas

+ The hotel is very nice, food is good and its clean. Terrace after hiking is a plus. Shared dorm is big and bed is very comfortable. Its a bit far from Paul but you have aluguers passing by in front of the hotel quite often, or 45 min very beautiful walking. Breakfast is very nice (tasty bread, pancakes, fruit, milk, coffee etc)

- Its not a social hostel, atmosphere is mostly old couples, and you will share room mostly with workers from the hotel. Its a bit pricey for a shared room

+ Das Beste war die überaus gastfreundliche Betreuung durch die gesamte Besitzerfamilie. Wir haben auch die Küche sehr geschätzt, vom Frühstück bis zum Abendessen hat alles wunderbar geschmeckt.
