Best hostel in Costa Rica!!! Free breakfast, amazing pool, walking distance to the surf beach. I booked the standard private room with my friend and it’s a sweet jungle cabin. Great value for money… spacious, clean, cool and airy, with large private bathroom. Lush garden and monkeys in the trees!! Wifi works perfectly. The hostel is very social and everyone’s friendly,it’s the perfect place to meet people

Denzell and Nina are great volunteers. They gave me a free upgrade and made my stay even better. Perfect hostel and really nice social activities. Would definitely recommend.

One of the most special places I’ve ever stayed at. After coming back multiple times over the past years, I genuinely wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Santa Teresa. Beautiful jungly vibe, amazing pool, food, activities, music, sunsets, and lovely common areas. Extremely clean, safe, and full of personality. But what truly makes it unforgettable is the people — the staff, volunteers, and guests create such a warm, social, and genuinely special atmosphere. Never hesitate to stay!!

I had an amazing time staying here! The property is clean, well maintained and has a lot of fun areas to socialize and meet others. Specifically, loved the pool and the treehouse. On top of this the staff is incredible and super friendly/knowledgeable with recommendations and things to do! Would highly recommend

Lost Boyz was my first solo travel experience, and I felt welcome from the very first minute I arrived. It’s a very social and open hostel with great activities. Volunteer Nina was amazing and really helped create such a fun and welcoming atmosphere! The rooms are nice, but a few upgrades would make them even better — especially something to help with the heat and mosquitoes.

La ubicación está genial me pareció un buen punto el ambiente me encantó te hace sentir como q todos son amigos, si viajas sola o solo es el ambiente perfecto para socializar, la limpieza en los las baños creo que puede mejorar. La habitación también puede mejorar ya que es caliente y el abanico no hace el viento suficiente por lo que no ayuda la hora de dormir y eso q se supone estaba al máximo, se sentía como que no soplara.

This was my first hostel solo travelling and I couldn’t have pick a better one! The atmosphere is so chill everyone is just so nice & open minded. Even people who aren’t staying here come over for the daily events or just to hang out. I intended to stay here only for 4 nights, but loved it so much I actually started volunteering. The dorms only have one fan, so it gets pretty hot in there, but I would choose this place over another hostel with AC everytime! Shout out to Thomas & Denzell

The best hostel I’ve ever been to!!! It’s the perfect mix of social and wellness. I made friends after 5 minutes because the hostel was busy annd everyone was so welcoming! There were events every day like breathwork and sip and paint. My friends at another hostel were jealous. I wasn’t bothered by no air con because the nomad dorm was cool and comfortable with fans on every bed... I will be back!!!

THE place to be if you are travelling to Santa Teresa. No hesitation. You have to, literally. Sarah, Sugar, you guys rock. We travel to meet people, have fun, live unique experiences, and the energy, staff, volunteers, travellers at Lost Boyz is something special. One of those places that genuinely becomes part of the trip itself, not just where you sleep. Met amazing people, laughed nonstop, and made memories I’ll honestly keep for a long time.

I generally try to switch hostels wherever I go throughout my journey in order to meet new people and find out more about the city. However I had to make an exception for Lost Boyz. It was initially recommended by my friend who stayed there a while ago. Frankly, I had high expectations because I heard the name before my trip to Santa Teresa. Lost Boyz never fell short delivering. I made amazing connections and the whole staff made me feel at home. I would love to come and visit you guys again.

Spent 7 days here and had an absolute blast! Sugar and Sarah curate such a great atmosphere. Enjoyed the facilities, staff were kind/knowledgeable and met some really great people. Staying here has been the highlight of my trip and would recommend it to anyone who is traveling through Costa Rica. Completely enhanced my experience in Santa Teresa!

First time solo travelling and staying in a hostel. I couldn’t have picked a better spot! Everyone feels like family the second you meet them, location is ideal for everything. You know you picked the right hostel when everyone who isn’t staying there spends their days there anyway.

If you’re staying in Santa Teresa I’d highly recommend Lostboyz. This place was amazing and I’m happy I got to spend a week of relaxation and partying there😁They hosted so many activities that really engaged everyone, which I especially appreciated as a solo traveller. I met so many cool people and created unforgettable memories during my time at Lostboyz! Big shoutout to the staff Sarah, Sugar and last but not least Tania. You guys really made this place feel like home🤙🏽

Such a lovely stay!! 🥰 I felt welcome from the very first moment. The whole place has such a nice, relaxed vibe and it’s super easy to meet people. I was lucky enough to get upgraded to a beautiful private studio for a night (still so happy about it 🤭) Definitely keeping my fingers crossed for anyone staying here to get that surprise too! Would 100% come back if I’m ever in Santa Teresa again. Thank you for everything! 💞
