Helvetia Hostel

Overpriced and not clean at all. Not common areas except for the terrace which doesn't look like in the pictures... On top, they only take cash..

Helvetia Hostel is clean, quiet, and located in a peaceful area not too far from the beach. The facilities were well maintained, and the atmosphere seemed relaxed and homey. However, I was disappointed by the strict age restriction policy. If you’re over 40 years old STAY AWAY!!!

متوسط السيدة زوجه المالك لا تصلح وعنيفة وتغار من البنات وتعامل الضيوف معاملة سئية هذا اسوء شئ في الهوستل ايضا الحمامات مخصص الي النساء والي الرجال وسلالم كثير

Très bon séjour à Helvetia Hostel! Terrasse très sympa et avec une belle vue, emplacement parfait et personnes sympas !!

Very nice, helpful host and super location. No double bed so for a couple the private room was not ideal. Cute roof terrace!

Llegamos y nuestra reserva, que era de dos camas, no estaba disponible tuvimos que esperar 5 horas para que hicieran un reordenamiento de habitaciones. Pero no pudieron darnos la habitación que habíamos reservado y nos ofrecieron otra pequeña y con dos literas para que usáramos sólo las de abajo.El responsable del hostel fue amable, pero eso no compensa el tiempo de espera. No volvería a este alojamiento.

Great for a short stay. 5 person room was so small, my friends and I were walking over stuff to get out. Location is perfect. Host was very accommodating and flexible.

The best things about this hostel were it’s location, terrace and friendly host. Everything else was very basic and wasn’t the cleanest. Hvar itself is lovely but expensive

The hostel is quite expensive at 42 euros for a bunk bed, but accommodation in Hvar is more expensive than elsewhere. The hostel is small, clean and located in the middle of the old town near the port. There is a usable kitchen and a very nice roof terrace with a great view over the old town.

Fantastic hostel, the owner went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and also went above and beyond to help me find my lost passport. Very welcoming vibe

Everything about the hostel was great. We stayed in a private room, we liked that the bathrooms were separated male and female, and the balcony was awesome. The owner is so awesome too!

Host was so nice, it was really cool to stay where he grew up! Great location & terrace too

Amazing! I stayed both here and the white rabbit, and would recommend Helvetia over WR. The facilities were much nicer, and the rooftop is lovely. It was less social, but much more comfortable than WR. Also, the staff is so nice. The owner's son checked me in, and when I accidentally overpaid him, he made sure to give me back the correct amount. I loved his honesty! Would stay again!

Neznam kako bi pocea pisati o ovom čoviku od ljudi i mora,od pisme i od lipog i ugodnog drustva.Domačin u kakvog bi se svak triba ugledati.Spontan,druželjubiv,cijeni covika ,a ne njegova djela.Rino i ja upoznali smo se u njegovom u kojeg sam dosa mokar i bos sa tri valiže i veselog duha.Ne dugo nakon toga smo zapivali Intrade i Grdovića.Rino je otvorijs odma dvice boce žmura iz Sučurja i tako je krenula nasa prića koja ce biti aktivna dok smo živi.Život pise priće,a Rinov hostel ih s...

Fantastic hostel. I lost my passport while out and the owner Reno went above and beyond to help me get it back. Really lovely people working here, they made the experience so much better and helped me out of a tough situation. Also the terrace is beautiful and a nice place to meet other travellers

Absolutely loved our stay here. The owner, Rino was the best host and did everything to make our stay memorable. It really feels like a home. Great kitchen, outdoor spaces, clean bathrooms and comfortable rooms. Only thing lacking is an indoor lounge area.

Lovely hostel in a perfect location in the old town. There's a a terrace with beautiful views to the sea and the sunset. The host Rino is really kind and friendly. The hostel was quite quiet, so good if you are looking for a more peaceful stay. Thanks for having me!

Beautiful hostel in a very nice part of Hvar. Host was extremely friendly and generous, and was also super helpful when I needed anything. Highly recommend

Good location and clean hostel

I had an incredible stay at the Helvetia Hotel! This place is ideally located in the center and close to the port of Hvar, for shopping, excursions, bars... The best part of the stay was definitely the opportunity to meet people from all over the world! And finally, I would like to thank the hotel team for their welcome, the cleanliness of the premises, and the kindness of the hosts... It was truly a pleasure staying with you! I had an amazing stay here! The hostel is run by a father and son who were incredibly kind and welcoming. They gave me great local tips, made sure I had everything I needed, and even offered me some local wine for free. You can tell they genuinely enjoy getting to know their guests. The location couldn’t be better, right in the center and close to everything. The rooftop terrace was absolutely fantastic, with beautiful views over the city. I would definitely here again and highly recommend

Stayed here for a few nights, owner Reno and his son Milan were incredibly kind and hospitable. Really felt like I was a guest at his house, he often stayed to talk to us. The location and roof terrace were amazing too☀️
