Poco accogliente

Recatomi per avere informazioni per un rinfresco, completamente ignorati dal personale addetto e trattati con modi a dir poci inurbani. Location ******** e non dico altro.

Sylwester seemed very conceited. I didn't feel well treated. If you are traveling by public transport, after taking the bus you will need to walk 20 minutes up. So if you are only 2 days in Florence, it is not a good place. Between round trip to the city you will lose 2 and a half hours in travel + the 20-minute climb. The monastery is very pretty. While the property for Ostello del Bigallo is beautiful, that is the only positive part of my experience here. No mention on the listing about the 20min UPHILL walk from the bus stop to the hostel. There are no locks on the doors for the rooms, 2 random people walked in my room while I was relaxing. So many mosquitos, in and outside the hostel. Finally, there were no signs in English at the hostel of the upcoming work being done in the parking lot the hostel used for guests and my car was towed.

The hostel is located in a beautiful monastery and the stuff is nice, but overall it is overpriced and doesn’t worth it. The breakfast is awful, too hot in the room during the night, only 2 toilets for many many people, no drinkable water, thin pillows. Sorry guys, but never advise you to someone

No clue how this hostel is rated so highly. Here are some issues I noted: 1. Paper towel empty half the time 2. two toilets for 25 people 3. Showers were either too hot or cold, no middle 4. Mobile didn't work because the walls are so thick 5. WiFi only works in the common room, not near beds 6. Gave clothes day 1 morning, went to pick them up day 3 morning, they were still wet, and that's paying 10 euros 7. Light at my bed was broken 8. Very far from town, requires long uphill walk to a bus

👍Ostello dall'atmosfera unica, quasi medioevale, stanze e letti puliti. Classica colazione con latte cereali ecc.. 👎Se siete senza macchina e quindi vi dovete affidare ai mezzi pubblici arrivare a destinazione diventa abbastanza lungo e complicato è una volta arrivati all'ultimo stop tocca camminare per altri 15 Minuti in salita. (Però se siete instancabili e testoni come il sottoscritto è un esperienza da provare!)

I’m really sorry to write a less than 5 stars here! I want to preface this by saying that this is a solid place to stay. I booked based on a strong recommendation from a friend who loved her time here.
