Mi estadía estuvo bien. Suma mucho el desayuno incluido, pero resta muchísimo que no tenga cocina ni heladera para guardar cosas. Yo no tuve problema con la limpieza ni vi bedbugs pero mis amigos si, así que tendría cuidado con eso. La ubicación es lejos del centro, con un tren bastante rápido llegas pero tampoco suma. Quizá para estar más cómodo sacaría un Airbnb por el centro. El personal muy amable. El laundry carísimo!

Let’s start with the good -currently no bed bugs in the two dorms I stayed in -nice rooftop with beautiful view -the staff is SO KIND -breakfast was nice (cereal, corneto, tea coffee, ham cheese and bread) -it was comfortable enough that I extended my stay a couple days when I met nice people The bad -creepy men stay at this hostel. there is currently an old man living in the mixed dorms. He is very mean and clearly unhappy in his situation. Several of us switched rooms to avoid him.

No clue what all the other reviews about bed bugs are about, beds were clean and nice. Guys showers were basically open to the bathroom with clear glass door but besides that was a pretty nice place. Rooftop is great too.

The staff are nice, the location is good and it’s a decent value for money. The food is not good I don’t recommend, my friend got bitten by bed bugs, shower doors are see through and men were in the women’s showers daily.

Don’t be scared of bed bugs. I didn’t get any and I didn’t hear about any during my stay. Yea the hostels a little far from main sorrento but it’s not bad. Gives you some time to sober up on your way back from the bars. This place was great. It’s affordable, has an awesome rooftop bar, and is a big enough hostel to where you are guaranteed to meet some cool people as long as you put yourself out there a bit. Also five euro bottles of wine so idk how you can miss. Ask for food and moped recs!

stay was okay. nice facility and nice rooftop bar. but found bed bugs and was a lot of ants. staff was not helpful when concern was brought forward for ants or bed bugs. long walk from Port. wouldn't stay here again.

Honestly after reading all the reviews I was nervous coming to this hostel but it was actually fine. Room was clean (no bed bugs) and my stuff was secure. Only two issues were the toilet didn’t have a seat which seemed to be a thing in Sorrento so wasn’t a big deal and the location. It was about a 40 minute walk to the centre or an infrequent bus ride so I really got my steps up while staying here! So just be mindful when booking that it’s not close to the main port of Sorrento. Otherwise fine!

DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT BED BUGS Yes, the reviews are true - and they’re still in denial! Four people checked out of our room the same night. When the first two people raised the concern, the receptionist said: “Yes we know, unfortunately it’s quite common”. After requesting a refund due to a serious health hazard, they denied everything and took no responsibility! Now they won’t even answer my emails. Don’t risk ruining your Euro Summer by being infected by bed bugs.

I stayed in the Sunshine room and woke up covered in bed bug bites. The staff came to have a look at the room and looked like they didn’t care at all. They only saw 1 bed bug so they said it wasn’t a big enough issue for a refund. I asked the staff to get a refund for the nights we hadn’t even stayed yet as I wanted to get out of there and they said they can’t do that. So they changed my room for the last night. The location is bad as far out, but it was fine for us as we had a bike.

We booked a 10 female dorm with bathroom but there was 12 people in there. Asked reception and they said that none of their 10 person rooms had bathrooms which is odd cause their website says that. I got bed bugs and bites on me and when I told reception all she cared about was if I was checking out. The two men running the bar/restaurant on the rooftop are so lovely and that was the most enjoyable part of this hostel. The ladies who do the breakfast as well were great.Also 30 min walk to town.

It was okay- hot showers (although the shower doors r see through 😭) and nice breakfast, but the atmosphere isn't great and also there are bed bugs. Which is probably the worst part- woke up the next morning with itches and little bites everywhere

Rooftop bar is the highlight here; cheap drinks and great views of Mt Vesuvius and surrounding islands - great place to meet new people. Stayed in a private room so didn't have any issues with bed bugs (new linen and towels provided every day) This hostel is great value for money

Pretty good!! You get your moneys worth I guess. The rooftop has amazing prices and an amazing view. Why on earth are the showers genuinely see through 😭😭 not even a bit but straight up you can see everything. Some bedbug rumor going around, personally didn’t encounter any. The lady that works there is rude. The young guys are very professional and I wish them well. Some girl slept in my bed, that was annoying.

There were bedbugs in 3 entire rooms (12 bed rooms). 10 or more people were bitten. I will say, they did refund most of the people for the rest of their stay. Not the nights you stayed but thereafter. I stayed 1 out of 3 nights booked and they gave me most of my money back and I left to stay somewhere else.

BED BUGS!!!! BED BUGS!!! This hostel has a great rooftop bar but be careful, insane amount of bed bugs. I switched rooms 3 times, every room the beds had them… one bed so bad we found live bugs and eggs. the staff did not care and when I showed them the bed bugs on the ground they stomped on it and said no bugs…. They expressed to me that no exterminator was going to be called. I left because my body was covered in bites. No refunds for anything even with bites..

Very basic hostel, it does the job. Negatives were that the female showers were see through. We had to use beach towels to cover the door. One of the rooms had bed bugs. In the upstairs female toilets only 1 had a seat. Positives were aircon worked well, rooms were mostly clean and included breakfast. Food and drinks at the hostel were cheap. Easy walk to the nearby train station which takes you into Sorrento. Staff were helpful as well.

Place was filled with bedbugs. Everybody was getting bit in addition extremely cheap bed situation. Extremely rude staff. Places a giant scam constantly trying to keep the machine running at the cost of their vacationers. Stay far away.

Bed bug “rumours” are simply concrete fact. One night in their Sun room and we were bitten. Other people in our dorm were riddled from head to toe with bites. The staff would come in and not acknowledge the severity of the issue. Not even offering to change rooms-we had to ask. Additionally, they did not tell others in the room about this issue which provides huge risks as some guests were unaware of the bedbugs. DO NOT STAY HERE. I guess you get what you pay for.

Seven Hostel is an OK choice for Sorrento. They put me in the wrong room, there were tons of bed bugs in the next bed (bare mattresses, no protector). No bath mat or hand towel, so the bathroom was always wet. No indoor common area, but the rooftop bar is cheap and chill. A really nice free beach is a 15 min walk, but the town/harbor is 40 min away and public transit stops around 10pm, with pretty much no taxi's or uber. Wish they had more info about transit, it was very confusing.

I had a terrible stay due to a bed bug infestation. I noticed bites on my first night and found clear signs of bed bugs. After checking reviews, I realized this is an ongoing issue the hostel hasn’t resolved, as many past guests reported the same problem. The bites were painful, and I had to deal with the hassle of cleaning everything afterward. Avoid staying here until they fix this serious issue.

Good quiet location a bit out of town. Has a lovely rooftop bar and area perfect for watching the sunsets. However, had bed bugs and when I told the reception politely they were very rude and did not care. The bathrooms had no privacy the shower doors were all clear. Has potential to be such a great hostel so it is unfortunate that I ran into these issues.

Great value and great stay. However, me and my friend didn’t have issues but a few people we had met at the hostel had to leave due to bed bug issues and were told they were mosquito bites. The shared showers have glass doors, which I didn’t mind but if you like privacy you may find it difficult. The rooftop bar was great, met great people and had good reasonable priced food and drink.

Overall, good location. Loved the neighborhood. Quick access to the beach and cool little place. The staff was super helpful. Terrace is awesome for sunset views. 3 main things I had an issue with… 1.) Showers are see through; no privacy. 2.) My friend had bed bugs that bit her. 3.) No kitchen for guests to use. Overall my experience here was great!

Good for young Australian/kiwi travellers. The hostel itself was alright. Bit far out of the main town (but not as far as you think). Good breakfast, however, the bathrooms are in desperate need of renovation. Not to mention the alarming bed bug problem. Didn’t appreciate having to make my own bed either. The only reason I didn’t completely hate this hostel was the fact that I made the most amazing friends here.

Bed bugs!!!! Stupidly didn’t think much about seeing a bug crawl on my bed when I checked in, just flicked it off. Few days later and now have reallyy bad bed bug bites all up my arms, pharmacy even told me to go to hospital. Even without this didn’t like hostel much. Shower doors were transparent, no sanitary bins in toilets, AC would switch off half way through night so wake up sweating, no kitchen to store food, far away from town and beaches. Worth paying extra and staying somewhere else!!

I know that there were some reviews on here that spoke about bed bugs. But we didn’t have any and all the people I met said they were fine too!!! I read that someone said the roof top is small. IT IS NOT! It’s HUGE. There is a section for sunbathing and a place to just sit and relax and then another section where the bar is. It was lovely and PERFECT for meeting new people. I’m solo travelling and I met some of the most LOVELY people here and the staff was PHENOMENAL. I would go back.

You definitely get what you pay for with this property, I think it’s good if you plan on going out most the time and just need a place to sleep as it’s well connected with bus routes and trail lines close by to all the day trips! The rating is lowered because I found a bed bug in my bed (always inspect your bed before you get into it) they did put us in a completely different room which was good and I wasn’t bitten!

My clients, who I referred to this hostel caught bed bugs and had bites all over their legs on the first night stay. When they notified the management they stated they were mosquito bites. It was extremely disrespectful and I will never recommend this hostel and will write negative reviews online unless a refund is made. It was bad enough to wake up with bed bug bites but then to be called a liar an d refused refund was absolutely horrible.

I would not recommend staying at this hostel. There were ants crawling everywhere (including where the kitchen was located) & at one point we thought that we might have gotten bed bugs (luckily we did not). The showers were not clean & did not drain. There was no common kitchen however there was a restaurant ran by the hostel. The restaurant advertised that they had home made food however I watched them take a frozen microwave lasagna & serve it to us. Also almost everyone had difficulty unlock

Hostel barato, localização ok, porém a limpeza principalmente do banheiro não é boa, estava com bed bugs na cama, café da manhã acaba super cedo, antes do horário previsto, não tem cozinha, nem uma geladeira pra colocar ao menos sua agua! Um dia pedi copo com gelo e me foi negado. O melhor ponto do hostel é o rooftoop!

place was very dirty and stinky. was told by a girl in our dorm there was a bed bugs problem. the showers had mold growing in them and the shower drain would overflow. the communal shower doors were see through. i saw a worker at breakfast drop a piece of bread on the floor and put it back on the tray to serve to guests. also, the milk, cheese and ham at breakfast was warm. the company made up for the place .

Great Hostel, little bit of a walk to get back from Sorrento however easy access to Sorrento during the day as there is a train stop 5 mins away, atmosphere was incredible helped by the very social bar/ restaurant situated on the roof of the hostel with unreal views, my only complaint would be on the last night of my stay I believe I got bitten by bed bugs but not entirely sure

The receptionist didn’t even ask me what bed I was in I had to tell him and he seemed uninterested in actually helping me or offering me compensation. Over priced for what it was, breakfast was average you could buy better in the town/supermarket. No kitchen facilities either. If I wanted to be attacked by bugs it would have been cheaper to stay at the camp ground (probably would have been nicer as well)

Positives- amazing roof top bar with friendly staff, a short walk to the train into sorrento town, free breakfast was good. Negatives- pretty sure we had bed bugs as we woke up with new bites and there was signs of them on the beds. The bathroom was awful, really damp and with mould. Bedrooms were okay but the air con wasn’t great and our curtain was broken so we had a poor sleep. Wouldn’t recommend but it’s manageable for a short stay.

This hostel was honestly terrible. It was completely unclean and unhygienic and I don’t think it should be recommended. The beds were infested with bed bugs. The staff told us they would rectify the issue but they did not and I continued to be infected. Many of us were forced to sleep in the hostel bar, rather than a bed, because of the bug issue. The staff were not apologetic and many refused to acknowledge us. This was an extremely unpleasant experience

CRAWLING WITH BEDBUGS This hostel is tempting with it’s cheap price, but it is not worth it. From soggy toilet paper, no privacy in showers, and mildewy bathroom far from rooms it is not a good place. The real issue was the fact that they sprayed for bed bugs within 24 hours of us getting there, an EU health violation, and we still had bed bugs throughout the room. Despite having bed bugs the manager would not even offer a refund. It is not worth the risk of staying here.

🚨Beware Bedbugs 🚨. This can happen anywhere and I understand that. However, Seven Hostel handled this very poorly to the point that we had to cut our stay short and leave and they refused any kind of refund. We are covered in bites. Beyond the bed bugs fiasco, this place has horrible customer service. The AC in our room didn’t work properly, and they said it could be due to the window being open, but the window itself was broken. Also no toilet paper or soap in women’s bathroom— gross.

you get what you pay for, and being such a budget friendly option my expectations weren’t that high, HOWEVER- the beds were INFESTED with bed bugs and we tried telling the staff multiple times but no attempt at any resolution was made. Also, the toilets/bathrooms were filthy and barely ever had toilet paper. The showers clearly didn’t get cleaned either as there were clumps of hair and toiletry wrappers sitting in there the whole duration of my stay. I stayed in the ‘sun’ room and multiple people in my dorm, including myself had trouble with the dodgy keys and unlocking the door, resulting in it having to stay open quite often which is obviously quite poor security. The hostel has great potential but desperately needs to fix these issues. The only good thing about this hostel were the amazing people I met, however that has nothing to do with the hostel itself really. overall wouldn’t recommend unless your desperate.
