Fortuna Hostel

Tbh after reading the reviews I was terrified to stay. But I am travelling with two other people so we booked a three person private room- which worked for us. The hostel has got men roaming round but they are no bother. The bathrooms were on the more grotty side of hostel bathrooms. I don’t think I would stay as a solo traveler but it was okay. If anyone needs reassurance on the place… on our second night a school group turned up.

Good location, excellent instructions on hot get there from train or bus.

Sehr heruntergekommen und dreckig, unangehmer Geruch, hellhörige Wände, generell laut durch die Baustelle vor der Tür. Kein Ort zum wohlfühlen oder wo ich wieder übernachten würde. Eintig gute ist die Lage.

Personal war freundlich und die Lage ist top weniger als 10 Minuten vom Bahnhof entfernt. Was allerdings komplett unerhört ist, ist das niemand vom Personal je erwähnt hat, dass die Unterkunft um 23 Uhr schließt und es danach keinen weg mehr hinein gibt?!?!

El hostel está muy bien ubicado, cerca del transporte y la estación de buses. está limpio pero puede mejorar. no hay absolutamente nada ambiente de fiesta y no tiene locker. pero para pasar dos noches está perfecto.

NOT FOR THE INEXPERIENCED. This ‘Hostel’, isn’t really a hostel at all. It is more of a guest house where middle-aged, even old men camp for a long time, perhaps even live. They make it their own, and of course aren’t the crowd you expect or want when you book a ‘hostel’. I did not feel safe, full of men in their 50s staying for long periods of time. Staff were rude. Nowhere to leave anything safely. Checked out after 2 hours and stayed somewhere else.

If there were an award for the most nightmarish place to stay, this would win hands down. We really liked our stay, we paid for dorm beds but got a private room without extra charge! The location was good, but the check-in time was wrong on the website (it’s at 14.00). Some of the locks in the upstairs toilets didn’t lock. We enjoyed our stay, and would recommend this place for other travellers for an affordable hostel!

This place provides the basic necessities. A bed, some showers, a kitchen. However, the check in time provided was wrong, and after a long day of travel I was so tired. There’s also only 1 key per room? I didn’t understand this policy, and the room was also never locked because of this. There was nowhere to store my bag safely in the room either. One positive was the woman who checked me in was very kind. This hostel isn’t the best ever, however it will do for a cheap stay for a night.

Great hostel for less money. Everything was perfect, you get new Bedsheet, towel etc. Staff was also friendly

An excellent hostel located close to the historic centre and public transport hub. Good staff service. Rooms and kitchen are spacious and clean. Highly recommended for all travellers. Will definitely stay here again if I return to Vilnius.

Brak Szafek w pokojach. Dostałem jedyny klucz do pokoju, poza innymi nocującymi. Łazienka to tylko jedna działający prysznic z dwóch, gdzie nie ma mowy o czystości. Toalety też do remontu. Właściciel winien zrobić remont. Nie polecam.

Did not feel safe at all in this hostel. There are clearly people living there. Additionally, the clientele passing through seems to be mostly men in their 50s who do not understand social cues. As a solo female traveler, I felt very unsafe. I’ve never stayed in a hostel like this and I’m not sure how the rating is in the 7s, I know it's a cheap hostel but spend the extra money and stay somewhere safe.

A good hostel for one night, but the building seemed old and needed more cleaning.

Très bon emplacement très proche du tous les commerces et du centre ville. C’est bien sécurisé L’espace en commun est bien réparti avec tous ce qui faut en vaisselle, four, micro-ondes etc … Par contre, le personnel est vraiment trop froid soyez près à être accueilli froidement La remarque que j’ai aussi c’est les draps devrait les changer ils sont anciens Sinon tous est bon :)
