Awful hostel. Manager is so rude. Had to basically beg for clean bed sheets as the ones we kept being given were filthy. The room & bathroom were hardly cleaned. We were given no key to lock our door so had to climb out of the window to lock door from inside. Atmosphere is so dead. Supposed to get a free boat ride over to ferry port but the manager wanted to charge us, probably because he was so upset that we wanted to sleep in clean bedding (such a huge ask!). Spend your money better elsewhere
Weird vibes as soon as we arrived. No one really there and quite empty like a ghost town. No electricity in our room so got moved to another one where there were wires hanging out the wall and holes in the walls and floor. Wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Nous avions l'impression d'être constamment baladée. De plus, le ménage n'a pas été fait une seule fois...
We stayed in this hostel for a week. The location is great, right on the beach. Filtered water available. However, the power went out for several hours throughout the day. So we couldn't use the bedroom because it was too hot, nor the shower because there was no light. The staff never gave us the same explanations. We felt like we were constantly being walked around. Moreover, the cleaning wasn't done once.
Even though it was rather cheap, I would not recommend to stay here. There were no locks on the doors and there was mold in the rooms. The owner was not sober at any point in time. Another man working there was flirting with multiple women and was very persistent. I did not feel safe.
Could not fault the location. However when we checked in we were told the room we had been booked into, the aircon was broken so they moved us into a half decorated room (which we didn’t mind!) however it wasn’t clean at all and broken floor boards which were unsafe. Also the staff were not friendly/ helpful at all when we tried to get help from them so would not recommend
Aircon was awful and the door didn’t close properly so may as well not have been on. It was a sauna in there! Blasted music until 3:30am so couldn’t sleep. Not really much of an atmosphere. Wouldn’t stay here again but staff were friendly
Dorm are very loud. Could hear things you don’t want to hear at 4am. Top bunks have no privacy curtains. Quite dirty. Had a few problems with local staff as a single solo woman traveller. Was happy to check out after 2 days.
Do not book the dorm room. The dorm room smells so bad, like mold, since the room was so damp/moist. There were so many mosquitoes, yet no nets. The showers/toilets were alright, yet no mirror anywhere and spiders everywhere. Long time since they removed the spider(webs)… The WiFi did not go all the way to the rooms. There were no lockers and the room couldn’t be closed in general. However, the staff was friendly and the food and drinks were good!
Had a private room booked, did the job in terms of the basics. There was no remote for the air con in the room and we never got one after asking at the desk. Temp was on 25 degrees the whole time which was just about cool enough. However, there were regular power cuts and it the power often went off shortly before midday, making the room unbearably hot and no WiFi. Not a huge problem as most people would be at the beach by this time. However, for the price, our stay was okay

The door of the dorm we were in did not close, let alone lock.When we arrived the guy at reception had no idea we had booked even though we had done so 2 days prior through Hostelworld, and he also was not very professional. The showers were very poor; barely any water came out. The electricity in half of our room did not work so the lights and the plug sockets were useless. Location, however, was perfect and the price is very affordable.
Not for everyone. Well located, easy access, directly on beach. Cheapest bungalow w/ private bathroom on strip. Too rustic, clear under-investment, not meeting minimum standards (I am not difficult customer). A/C did work well and bungalow was air tight against mosquitos. For love of God, plaster/paint walls. No hot water. Friendly family lives on site and food is good. Management confusing when owner absent. Close and check your tab every night. Don’t pay your stay twice. Credit card accep...

The hostel was a bit old and we didn't have any light in the room but it cost only 2,5€ per night which was super cheap and the location is right on the beach and bed was comfy and had everything.
This is definitely one of the more social hostels on the island. The staff are really friendly and helpful. I stayed in a bungalow which was pretty basic but had everything we needed. The showers are cold in all hostels on the island unless you pay more for a resort. Just be aware with electrics because the fuse in my travel plug blew when it rained here. I think the whole island has unstable electricity though, so it’s not necessarily a reflection of this hostel.
The island is really laid back, perfect for a short trip. The property has hammocks, offers good food and a beautiful view.
You get what you pay for. Without seeing other properties on the beach, it’s hard to tell if they’re all as run down as this one. They had just come out of low season, so he apologized for some unfinished projects. No warm water, run down bathrooms, always spider webs in the shower (indoor/outdoor shower). No activities really. The ppl who worked there were very kind and friendly though! May have been the season? We left early, there’s also not so much to do on the island! 5 days was too m...
The host was great value for your money. It’s located right on the beach. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The rooms and bathrooms were definitely not the cleanest. Also the BBQ is overpriced, the food was cold.
Ok für den Preis gibt's nichts größeres zu erwarten. Ihr habt ein Bett und vielleicht Schließfach. Im Dorm 1 gibt es 8 Betten aber nur 4 Schließfächer. Ich denk aber auf der Insel hat jeder selbst Geld und stiehlt euch nix. Waschbecken sind outdoor. Einfach ausprobieren, ich glaub der Nachbar 2m nebenan hat auch nicht viel anderes.
Ok for the price there is nothing bigger to expect. you have a bed and maybe a locker. in dorm 1 there are 8 beds but only 4 locker. but i think on the island everyone has their own money and steals nothing. sinks are outdoors. just try it, i think the neighbor 2m next door doesn't have much else either.
Excellent rapport qualité-prix ! Les pieds dans l'eau et très bon restaurant ! La chambre est clairement roots. Coupure d'électricité toutes les après-midis.

Lovely hostel, had such a good stay here!
Overall a good stay here, staff are friendly/helpful and the location is perfect. Bungalow is basic and there’s no hot water but it was very clean and the food was decent.
We stayed here for 4 nights and had a wonderful experience! The staff and owner are very hospitable and made us feel at home. The location is great — close to everything we needed. It’s affordable yet definitely worth the price. Highly recommended!
