Ree Hostel

Not a great experience in this hostel. I stayed in a bunk bed (6-bed mix dorm). Room was ok, but bathroom was not clean and there was issue with water drainage in the bathroom. No amenities were provided in the bathroom. Guests were checking in till late night, and couple of drunk drivers were allowed to use a bunk bed in the middle of the night. Location of property is good as it is walkable from leh market but everything else in terms of service, cleanliness and amenities suck big time!

Toilet was not clean, door lock was broken, no lock in the shelves, very noisy. I booked it for 3 nights, but it was so bad that i forced myself to leave the hostel in 2nd day. Overall I didn't felt comfortable.

The hostel does not look like the same as it is in the pictures. There were a few guys in the hostel who misbehaved with my female friends and me as well.

The room wasn’t cleaned properly. There were old smelly slippers still in the room and used soap bars in the shower. The location is close to the center but the last part of getting there is not lit by street lamps whilst there are gangs of dogs in that area. It just all felt a bit sketchy. Also did the hostel overprice on laundry and waterbottles (it was by far the most expensive laundry i’ve done in over a month travelling through india). Also did they charge double the MRP on water bottle...

Our stay at Ree hostel was nothing short of amazing. The people are very warm and made us feel very welcome, especially Enea at the reception. The hostel is very close to the Leh market, just a short walk, which was a big plus! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in Leh and acclimatize for a couple of days.

I had the best experience at Ree Hostel. The owner and the staff were super helpful and assisting. They made sure we had the most comfortable stay. The location was beautiful and the food was good too. They arranged cabs for us to get to distant places like Pangong Lake (great prices as well). This was my first time in Ladakh and I would choose them for the next time too.

We had a great experience here! We left for trekking and kept coming back 3 times. The staff were very responsive to all our requests, the atmosphere was nice and the rooms clean. Overall I would highly recommend!

This is a very good hostel. There is no better hostel than this for travelers in the whole of Leh Ladakh. I stayed here for a week. The entire staff of the hostel is very nice, especially Vikas Bhatt and Pallavi, both of them made me feel like home, and this hostel The owner is a very friendly and honest person, whenever I come to Leh Ladakh, I will stay in this hostel, you also come to this hostel and enjoy your trip.

The guys were very nice and available but the bedsheets in the room were not changed as well as the bathroom wasn’t cleaned up from the guest before
