Festanation Oktoberfest Camp #1

It was very male dominated when going to the campsite. There were multiple harassments against women from men that I saw when only staying there for barely two days.

I would not stay here honestly. If you are going to Oktoberfest, book an air bnb. this was so far from the festival and we weren't given outlets and my portable charger got stolen from the main area because you are forced to publicly charge your things. It is a terrible system and I would never stay here again. if you like camping, then go for it. but this was literally camping and it sucked.

Me and friend stayed here for two nights and it did the job but that was it. It was good enough for a campground but that is what it is so the price is a lot for a tent and showers. The breakfast was great and the location was good (not far from the metro station and a grocery store) but the showers and toilets were dirty and average. It is very much the bare minimum but works as a bed and a wash if that’s all you are looking for and don’t mind being a bit dirty and uncomfortable.

My stay in Festanation as a solo traveler was a little disappointing. The campsite did not organize any social events, which made it very difficult to meet other travelers and make friends. The facilities were accessible and cleaner than expected for campsite toilets and showers.

Overall good place to stay but definitely over priced for the accommodation. bring portable chargers fully charged because there won’t be any charging port in tents (duh) bathrooms and showers were nice considering the setting. staff incredible. very loud the whole night because people are partying ofc for oktoberfest. i just feel like €200+ for a tiny tiny tent packed onto a lot with 50+ other tents all on top of each other is a stretchhhhhh.

A camping with its everything. The people who work there it’s the whole essence of the experience. Beyond that, it’s in the middle of nowhere, with a connection to Metro 7-10’ on foot. Personal tents have no plugs obviously but the shared ones have. Issue it was the use of plugs in general, that was in a public area (in front of the reception)

Overall was positive. For the price I paid the place could be cleaner, but still was acceptable. The staff was very kind and helpful, especially Jolie the guide who brought me and my friend to the Oktoberfest.

The place seemed like one of the cheaper options to stay in Munich during Oktoberfest. However, the location was not what I imagined at all. The prior time I stayed at an Oktoberfest camp, it was in a really cool wooded forest. This camp is in the middle of a gravel trailer parking lot in an industrial looking area. I had an amazing stay here! Everything was so well organised and the staff were great, especially Halley at reception. Will definitely stay here again if I come back to Oktoberfest

Had a blast staying at Festanation Oktoberfest Camp #1! Really nice staff, good facilities, clean, nice tents and sleeping bags. Amazing Oktoberfest atmosphere! And it felt very secure. I'm so happy I slept there during Oktoberfest, really recommend it!

Without a doubt an unforgettable time. Staff was super friendly and helpful with everything. You will be proper camping, air mattress in a tent with just enough space for 2 travelers + packs. keep that in mind. We met some great fellow campers and had a blast at the fair. Would absolutely recommend.

10/10 staff was fantastic, especially Oooooona (Josh and Eddy were cool too) really made me feel welcome, good vibes.

Great value for the price! The Festination experience was fun and the staff was very charming-- Halley and Josh were two helpful highlights as we checked in! Both were happy to give us information about the campsite, Oktoberfest, ATMs, etc. which was nice! The campsite is located at the end of the U2 line, which made commuting to Oktoberfest and back very simple.

De plek was geweldig. Erg gezellig en het personeel was erg meedenkend en liet je je thuis voelen. Wij hadden een tour met een groep die geleid werd door een enthousiaste vrijwilliger Georgia. Erg bedankt!

The best hostel camp ever! Marchello, Jarrod, Meddy (apologies for the name), Kata, Josh and others were some of the nicest people I’ve met. 10/10, highly recommend!

The camping site was very nice and clean, and the staff was always understanding and extremely nice. Lena and Eddie helped me through me and my friends’ stay and were very receptive and helpful!

Had the most amazing time at festination campsite thanks to Edie, Josh, Tom and Lane would highly recommend staying!!
