Pepe's House Cuenca

A perfect hostel to stay for a couple of nights! Very friendly und helpful staff. The location is perfect!

Sehr schöner Ort für einen Kurz-Trip nach Cuenca. Das Personal war super hilfteich!! Die Katzen sind mehga süss und das Frühstück mega lecker. Einzig die Atmosphäre war mehr wie in einem Hotel als einem Hostel.

The staff at Pepe's felt like family from check in to check out. Nothing was too much and they bent over backwards to make my stay as enjoyable and succesful as they could. I booked a tour through a known guide to them and it worked out so well. The room was cute and there was plenty of super hot water. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The only thing I would have changed (which is not possible) is that the rooms face inwards, so essentially no windows. But I would definitely stay again.

The Good - Great location - short walk to Parque Calderon, the old and new Cathedrals, restaurants, chocolaterias, and the starting points of trips / activities; Great staff - helped all my questions, clear recommendations (with good reasons), advise on transport options; Space - large room and multiple common areas to relax; Nice Breakfast; the Cat ! The Could be better - The shower needs a shelf to place products (like shampoo), and the water was never very warm

Staff was great and were happy to provide recs, they checked in with me prior to reaching given the national emergency which was sweet. Not a social atmosphere, so if you're looking to meet people this isn't your place. The room, amenities, and location were great. Some reviews mentioning lack of hot water, I did not have this issue, just took about a minute for it to come.

This place was awesome! Great location, beautiful room, lots of hot water. The staff are amazing. Helped with a later check in and early morning check out. So helpful. Empanada the hostel cat/owner is adorable and purrs while you pet her. Highly recommended.

It’s a hostel/hotel property in an ideal location, close to everything. The staff is nice. The property is quiet not an ideal place to meet people not that was fine for me. I highly recommend.

Super Hotel. Top Mitarbeiter und super Lage. Frühstück war Ok. Das Zimmer wurde jeden Tag gereinigt. Die Wäsche wurde sorgfältig gewaschen und am Ende des Tages aufs Zimmer gebracht. Leider hat es keine Küche zum nutzen aber in Cuenca gibt es super feine Restaurant zu angenehmen Preisen:) wir würden wieder kommen. Hasta luego y muchisima gracia. John y Martina

Très agréable ☺️, les gens étaient gentils et aidants. Superbe hostel et très propre!

Great place to rest and very quiet. Staff bring a lot of info always and more. Ask for a craft beer in the bar or a cocktail. Always I come back to this place.
