- Its California, but It’s very cold here, especially at night. I wouldn’t recommend it for a vacation.
- I had a very disappointing experience. The eggs I stored in the fridge were stolen, and the next day, my yogurt was taken as well. This kind of behavior from other guests is unacceptable and made me feel very uncomfortable during my stay.
- they charged $20 for a lock to store your stuff in a locker
- There is a weekly Farmer’s Market that blocked access to the Hostel. I only found it after parking in a Public Parking lot and walking through the market. I would not have been able to park within 2 blocks until after 9PM. It is street parking and I was warned that even the parking lots only allow a 2 hour stay then tow your vehicle. This even if you pay for longer. There is a single stall bathroom on the main floor the other bathroom is on the second floor. I learned all this after I’d paid. I returned my key and left before even looking at the room.

- First of all the rude staff. They ask for money, if you don't pay they cancel days from your reservation.

- The front desk guy was very rude. Didn't even try to explain where my bed was located. The room was dirty and very small. I just felt unsafe and was scared to stay one day. Once I saw the situation, I left that same day. I didn't even stay for the two days I paid to stay. For international travelers who are used to staying at the hostel , don't book this hostel.. you will be disappointed . It is not even close to the pictures that they show online..

- Rude & Unprofessional Staff!!!!! It started out great however, front desk staff accused guests of unmentionable things as if there were cameras in the rooms and restrooms. Racial profiling as well. Before announcing checkout via intercom, Management would come into rooms without stating the purpose for entry.

The best hostel i’ve stayed in by a mile, would suggest to absolutely anyone ! great staff and great facilities, an overall amazing place
This place is an absolute gem. First time in a hostel and I cant say enough good things about this place. Right in the middle of OB, 1 block from the beach and everything you could ever need right outside your door. Super clean, organized, quiet. Great staff, great people, I will be back some day.
