Mesón del Gallo

Unfortunately, we had a bad experience. We booked the ensuite, which upon arrival turned out to not exist. When asking about this, the owner said 'no one else ever complains about this'. Turns out, there is one shower and one toilet for all the guests. We did not receive a towel. In the dorm, the room on the far end has to walk through the other room with beds to go to the one bathroom. The shower is very dated, and took 10min to get warm. Breakfast is only from 10-11. We will not come again.

Die Katzen und das kostenlose Frühstück (wenn auch sehr spät 10-12) waren für mich eher ein Trost. Als ich ankam ging weder Strom, Wlan noch Licht, außerdem war es konstant kalt, zu wenig Decken. Zudem gibt es keine Privatssphäre, weder im Zimmer noch im Bad noch dazwischen. Mir tut es leid eine schlechte Bewertung zu hinterlassen weil der Besitzer bemüht war alles zu verbessern und ich bin mir sicher wenn das Gebäude in vielen Monaten fertig renoviert ist würde auch ich mich wohler fü...

My stay at Meson del Gallo was wonderful. Surrounded by the sweetest, most cuddly cats and an architecturally magnificent building, I couldn't have felt more at home. The family and the team were very attentive and friendly. Breakfast was included, which I always find makes for a more relaxed start to the day. You can choose between various sandwiches or "tortas," and there's fresh fruit as well as coffee of your choice. The location was also very convenient, as you can get everywhere quickly.

Our stay at Mesón del Gallo was lovely, the hosts were so sweet and the property is beautiful. 10/10 location too

Super séjour, ressemble plus à une guesthouse qu'une véritable auberge de jeunesse. Le personnel etait adorable et très aidant, nous ont donné pleins de recommandations de choses à voir et à faire. Belle surprise, le petit déjeuner était inclus. Ils nous ont aussi laissé faire ke checkout un peu plus tard et laisser nos sacs à l'auberge apres le checkout pour que nous puissions explorer la ville sans les porter.

Un lugar céntrico y con todo lo que necesitas a tu alrededor . Precio justo .

La maison est charmante et bien placé. La literie est confortable. Guilebaldo et sa compagne sont accueillants, souriants et à l’écoute! Merciii pour votre accueil!!!

If you want to take a step into the history of Puebla in a house that's lived through critical points of Mexican history this is the place for you. Comfortable beds, clean bathroom, and just a few minutes walking to the zocalo. This place has everything you need for a stay in Puebla the hosts, Georgina and Guille, are locals to Puebla, werr super welcoming and made sure that I had a great stay. I recommend this place to anyone visiting Puebla. Also the food in the on-site cafe was 10/10.
