HI San Diego - Downtown

+ The front desk lady understood the existing issues like a smoky and stuffy smell. The common area is okay, but rooms are like dungeon

- I'm very disappointed. There was cigarette smell all over and the front desk lady told it s because of restaurants near. Very stuffy. I picked up allergy and wheezing. The tiny room had 2 bunk beds. I could not stay inside for even 5 mins. Added to it the metal cabinet is not fixed. When I put my baggage and tried to take out, the entire metal upper and lower units fell on me, and I hurt my back. It waa paining for a while and yet to consult a specialist. Fortunately, I am not that old, or it would have been fatal. Hotel management has to address this as this is not trivial. I explained everything to the front t desk and got a refund. Went to a better place to stay. Thank God I didn't stay in that stuffy smoky room

- Haben einen Ausschlag vom Bett bekommen. Mein ganzer Körper ist voll mit weißen Stippen. Ich schätze es sind Bettwanzen. Es stinkt im Fahrstuhl. Es gab kein Frühstück, obwohl bestellt.

- Many homeless around & have been threatening by Weird people stay at the hostel No smiles from front staff nor friendly . I found them to be very aggressive & poor at communicating.. This is the opposite of Hi San Fran where the team there is proactive & friendly

- Very noisy at night

- We had a mouse in our room. The room is on a very busy street so all night there’s heavy music and drunk people outside. The windows and walls let in all the sound

- 旅館就在酒吧上面, 不僅吵, 安全也有疑慮, 要通過許多大麻和醉鬼才能抵達的位置, 值得獨行旅客的擔憂. 這樣的性價比實在不值得. 第一次給這麼低的評價.

+ 街の中心gas lampストリートにありどこに行くにもアクセスが良かったです。 どのスタッフも優しく対応してくれました。 キッチンも綺麗で料理をしている人もいました。 エレベーターがあるので重たい荷物も安心です。 建物の中はローカルアーティストの絵やアートで飾ってあり楽しめます。 サンディエゴに来る時はまた泊まります！

- 大通りに面した部屋になると外のクラブの音楽が大音量で部屋まで響きます。1時くらいまではうるさいです。 場所がいいから仕方がないとは言え耳栓はあったほうがいいでしょう。

- מרגיש כמו מלון ולא כמו הוסטל, אין אווירה חברתית ומפגש עם אנשים. החדר גדול אבל אין כסאות, הייתי במיטה למעלה ולא היה לי מקום נעים לשהות בחדר.

+ I like the location and comfort of the beds. Overall pleasant demeanor of the staff. This hosle is usually excellent and most guest have respected the hostel etiquette.

- Lately they have allowed some very odd characters to stay here. SHOCKING AND Bizarre ENCOUNTERS 1)GUEST LACK of HOSTEL Etiquette (UNNECESSARY communication and nasty misbehaving guests). I was approached several times by a woman that seemed like she was inebriated or high on something. Each time that I was alone minding my own business... She would make it a point to move toward me, talk to me or and engage in conversation with me. Her approach was never normal ..extreme behavior..she twisted herself in weird ways and talked strange It was very odd. Without acknowledging her at all, I just quickly moved into another area so as to not be bothered. It was very uncomfortable. Eventually she got the message and stopped approaching me. 2) DOGS ( pets) on the premises. Allergies to Animal dander is serious. In this hostel there should be a designated room for people with service animals. And by law no pets should be permitted at all. I am often told in response to my voiced concern, that these people have service animals ...however, Just be sure someone says they have a service animal doesn't mean that they are being truthful. Many pet owners lie about the certification that their pets have. This is not to disregard some people who have legitimate service animals , which are trained for certain health related tasks,and they behave accordingly. Those specific situations should be handled in such a way to ensure proper accommodations, and strict guidelines. Perhaps a designated room for guests with service animals or people who don't mind sharing rooms with such an animal. However, ANYONE caught abusing this privilege should not be permitted to stay. Any acts of fraud should be taken seriously. Such illegal, and unlawful conduct is harmful to other guests and is unsanitary. Keep in mind ...Most pets are not groomed and bathed everyday, and if they are ....where is this done at a hostel ?

+ Izcila lokācija, ļoti stilīgs hostelis, mākslas darbu nokarinātas sienas un ļoti foršs interjers! Perfekti tīra istabiņa, ir kondicionieris. Virrtuve apgādāta ar visu iespējamo. Atpūtas istabā biljards, galda spēles un vēl visas iespējamās izklaides. Personāls strikti uzvaktē tos, kas nāk un iet, tas ir ļoti labi.

- Tā galīgi nav hosteļa vaina, bet logi iziet uz galveno ballīšu ielu! Un ballēties San Diego iedzīvotāji prot! Katrs bārs laiž mūziku uz visskaļāko, tad sabrauc tieši zem logiem 4 - 5 kārtīgi moči. Un visam pa vidu elektrisko ģitāru un tos pašus trīs akordus žēli trikšķina ielu muzikants. Un jā, tas viss notiek ne tikai sestdienas vakarā, bet arī svētdienas! Ar visu šo - es noteikti iesaku šo hosteli, viss kas Jums jādara, ir sevi kārtīgi jānogurdina pa San Diego pilsētu - un darīt tur ir ko! - paņemiet līdzi miega zāles, kvalitatīvus ausu aizbāžņus (hostelis piedāvā tādus parastos, celtnieku) un gulēsiet saldi! Jo atrašanās vieta, hosteļa mājīgums un cena atsver to naktsdzīvi!
