Wake Up In Tarifa Hostel & Restaurant Lounge

Very welcoming atmosphere in the centre of Tarifa. The hostel is very sociable and the owners contribute to make you feel at home. Loved the big showers and that they give you clean sheets to put yourself so you have the certainfy its gonna be clean. Great experience there even for only one night

The nice is staff and the location is perfect BUT there are no common areas and the kitchen is a storage room in the basement. Definitely not a social hostel and the beds are so close to eachother that you really have no feeling of privacy

Hostel charged me twice for one nights stay despite staff saying this wouldn’t be an issue and I would be refunded if that were the case. It has now been a week and no reply to my email regarding this and still both charges showing. I stay in hostels to save money, not get ripped off… Other than that the room was okay.

La posizione è super centrale, e personale molto accogliente e gentile. C e molto rumore nella stanza per via della posizione sulla piazza, quindi adatto se si vuole fare festa e tornare tardi, non adatto se la mattina si vuole fare presto per andare al mare.

Mi sono fermata per due giorni in questo ostello, mi sono sentita subito a casa, l’ambiente è super familiare, le camere sono semplici ma luminose e con aria condizionata, siamo stati molto spesso con le porte aperte e c’era una sensazione molto rilassata. Lo consiglio sia per le persone che ho incontrato, sia per i gestori che per la posizione, centralissima.

This is one of the better hostels I have stayed at.

I arrived at the hostel and it was simply closed. Rang the bell, hit the door, called on the phone multiple times, sent emails... no answer !!!! this is ridiculous

Location is cool. The hostel itself is the worst I've ever stayed in. The decoration is pretty good. However, most of the pictures are a lie. There are no sofas. The rooftop is BS. It is dirty, has no tables, only one BROKEN wooden chair. The bathrooms are the WORST. They have those taps that need to be pressed every 10 seconds to keep the water flowing. They have no chairs. staff did not want to sit in restaurant I argued and I did anyway. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Nice staff and place but the policy of not letting us use the kitchen before 830am is crazy. I had an early bus and wasn't even allowed to and make toast at 7.30am. Bunks are pretty basic and the same goes for the showers.

Un hostel cómodo, con una energía muy buena, Amparo es una persona súper atenta. Si vuelvo a Tarifa, definitivamente volvería aquí.

Nice modern feel with restaurant downstairs, but that’s it. Unsure if there was even a common area or kitchen for guests. Key had gigantic letters attached to it which was irritating to carry if you didn’t take them off. Had someone keep going and watching women in women’s restroom… which was super uncomfortable. The security doesn’t feel great since the door is always open and there is no actual luggage storage area, it’s just around a corner out in the open.

It was like under construction for the summer. No water in the shower. But it is a beautiful house, very clean and perfect location.

Un bonito hostel que en esta época del año está muy tranquilo. La habitación de 4 camas era espaciosa, limpia y luminosa, con buen espacio de guardado. Buena relación precio-calidad.

Loved loved loved Tarifa. Great art in the hostel. Wonderful neighborhood full of bars and markets.
