O'Cub Hotel

The hotel was not a good experience. Very old rooms with paper thin walls, you can hear everything. I had to abort my stay. The staff was the a delight though. They were amazing and helped me out wherever they could, despite my unhappiness.

20-25min walk to reach the city center. There is a railway track right behind the Hotel. If your room is on this side you will not sleep well. Also in my room the lights were not working (staff came and did it right) and at night you can hear every noise from other rooms especially when somebody is showering. AC was not working either, it was really hot in the room.

It’s a hotel, pretty cheap for a hotel though. A bit far of a walk to the central sights of the city. Since it’s a hotel there isn’t rly any atmosphere. Relatively clean and cute.

Price for a basic room was relatively cheap but that was probably only good thing. Location was not near anything. Considerable walk from Avignon train station and back into city for sightseeing and meals. Not within walking distance of Villeneuve either. Basic room was very basic. Mouldy shower curtain, water stained toilet bowl, only one usable power point in room and about 25 metres from the train line directly outside window. Breakfast for 10 Euro was about par.

Overall a nice place. Great and welcoming staff who had been very helpful and warm. Cleanliness is a problem as I found some dirty sticky tape on the towel. Security’s another- one morning the cleaning lady just used the key to open my door and came straight in. Otherwise it was a nice place located away from tourism center.

Not the best, but it's a fair price! It's about a 30 minute walk to the city, but it's not a bad walk. The walls are very thin so you can hear a pretty much everything going on and the rooms and bathrooms are very small. The staff was very nice though! I would have rather spent more money and booked a better hotel in the actual city, but it wasn't terrible!

Great value! The room was perfect for my two nights in Avignon. It was clean, comfortable, and with a view of the river. I enjoyed the walk over bridges to the centre of the lord city. The hotel staff were helpful and provided an excellent breakfast.

Great hôtel on the quiet side of the Rhone. Staff are super friendly and helpful, will stay there again if I ever go back to avignon
