Hotel Paris Lafayette

This must be the worst hotel in Paris. There was no WiFi or air conditioning, both of which were advertised. The host blamed WiFi for not being able to charge a card and demanded cash payment before checkout. When I said I couldn’t guarantee a cash payment in the next 15 minutes the receptionist called me a ‘Stupid American’ and threatened to call the police. Very bad receptionist

Staff were great but the air conditioning was broken for the duration of our stay so we didn’t sleep. The lights in the room weren’t working either. I contacted the management as advised but received no response

This place is in need of major renovation. The location is okay. The walls are very thin. Most of the staff were extremely pleasant. The cleaning staff were extremely kind. It’s just that the entire place needs redone. There is no way around it.

The staff were kind, the place was clean, and the location is great, but the elevator was broken, so we had to carry all of our luggage up four flights of spiral stairs. ☹️

Great stay however if your staying in private dorms there are many stairs to get to the room. The stairs weren’t great we were staying on the top floor so felt as if we would fall down all the stairs with our backpacks. Great facilities and very clean.

the hotel is in a nice neighborhood. from here you can easily explore the city. However, the street can be noisy at night, so earplugs are recommended. I would have expected something different for the price, but I have to say that all hotels in Paris are very expensive. Personally, the rooms are too small for me and everything is a little tighter. unfortunately the light switches didn't all work so there was no light on the door and in the shower you couldn't hang up the shower head …

I was expecting more from this stay. My single room was too pricey for the quality — the shower was so small that some people would not fit inside it. As a 5’9 female, 125 lbs — I was shocked. Air conditioning was broken during a heat wave. Coffee machine was broken, one of the only amenities offered. Concierge was not very knowledgable or competent .. generally underwhelming experience. If this is your last stop before the airport and you require a car ride .. organize this a day ahead.

Me and my friend are 16 and travelling, this hotel was very accommodating. The staff were very lovely! Although bathroom was quite small, it worked and the room was cozy and clean.

I was expecting more from this stay. My single room was too pricey for the quality — the shower was so small that some people would not fit inside it. As a 5’9 female, 125 lbs — I was shocked. Great hotel, lovely space, near to city center, the unique thing is they were working in some rooms next to mine, was a kinda of noisy and uncomfortable, the man of reception changed our roommate next day, but I think you need to close the complete floor if you’re working with heavy jobs.

Excelente lugar para hospedarse en París!

Excelente ubicación, personal muy atento, muy seguro, limpiaron nuestra habitación sin pedirlo, lugar muy tranquilo y cómodo para descansar! Lo único malo fue que me cobraron 20€ más de la totalidad que debía pagar indicando que era un impuesto, pero al reservar pagué una cantidad en la que ya estaban incluidos. El resto fue excelente! Me encantó :)

Perfect hostel and honestly the best price/quality proportion in Paris. Like everything is so perfect about the hostel except that they asked I think around 10 euros 'tax' per day to the price that I still had to pay at the counter. This has happend this time and last time. Still a good price but just unfortunate :(

The studio was perfect. The only bad thing that we found out is that it has almost no power plugs. But everything else was perfect and the breakfast delicious.

This was such a lovely place for a few nights! It was so nice to have a private bathroom. The location was great- only 30 minutes from the Louvre and accessible by many metro stations. We loved it!

great hostel in a lovely part of paris. only stayed one night with my husband in a private double. clean towels and comfy bed. room was really cute.

Very nice hotel in a fun area with easy access to metro and lots of good restaurants and bars.

Hotel muito bom. Bem localizado, limpo e bom atendimento. Único ponto negativo foi descobrir apenas na chegada sobre um aumento de imposto que encareceu a estadia (reserva foi feita após essa lei).
