Kings Landing Hostel Old Town

The place was dirty, when I arrived someone random from the street told me how to enter the building and from there I had to contact someone to do my check in, nobody was there. Until the night I met someone to do the payment and they were also surprised I entered the building. The place was never cleaned during my stay and it smelled really bad.

I don’t even know where to start. The owners are actually lovely, but the hostel is just not organised at all and it’s hard to understand who actually is in charge. Arrived at the property and no one was there. Another guest that come out let me in, rang and messaged both numbers left on a frame in the reception and not a single one was answered. Good location in old town. Not a good hostel. Very unclean, dark, creaky beds, barely any security or privacy. Do not recommend

Barely saw anyone my whole time there, be it staff or fellow guests. Location was fine being in Old Town, but stuck being on the steps and the lack of signage made it hard to spot when I arrived. Very expensive for the stay I had.

One of the worst hostels I’ve ever been in. No one at reception. Rooms are TINY and beds are hard with the worst pillows ever. Laundry is everywhere and stuff all cluttered in hallways. There is no where to lock up your belongings. They also moved my bed halfway through my stay because others wanted to be together. They did not ask they just did it. My stuff was still in the bed and the new customer was using my charger and such. New room had literally no walks was a curtain it was so dirty.

This is an awful place to stay. I don’t write bad reviews and have travelled lots but my friend and I waited 20 mins for someone to check us in only for them to give a bed already taken. The next day they locked us out of the room, took 30 mins to get someone who had a key to open it. The beds were so old and the mattresses very dipped in the centre. Quite possibly one of the worst hostels I have ever stayed in. The owner is self absorbed about his time on game of thrones over looking after his guests, talks about himself over propitiating guests. Filthy conditions, air condition made me sick and was only cleaned on my departure. Shower clogs leaving stagnant water and flies. DO NOT STAY. PLEASE READ: Horrible hostel. The owner is a self-obsessed liar. He overbooks his hostel knowingly so that the poor volunteers have to sleep on the floor. He followed us to the club and would not leave the girls alone on the dance floor, to the point where we had to get in between him and the girls multiple times. I had a pleasant staying. The location is very well, in the old town, very near to all main spots and the bus stop to go to the bus station. The people there also were so nice, very helpful and friendly.
