Hi Cozy Hostel Shanghai Bund

Pros: location next to metro line 2, reasonably clean Cons: breakfast not worth the extra quid or so especially as local food is super cheap and available 24/7, booked a room with a window only for the windows to be boarded up with plywood, felt like sleeping in a cellar, booked 4 nights only to be casually told at 7pm of final night I need to vacate the room as it’s assigned to someone else, no real explanation, they didn’t even have another room assigned to me. Poor customer service

Melody was great. Rooms are small and the bathrooms are clean-ish. You can tell they haven’t really deep cleaned the bathrooms in a while.

와이파이가 안되는데 별다른 조치가 없는 것은 아쉬웠지만 크루들도 친절하고 젊은 분위기는 좋았어요

Ho appena fatto una settimana in una stanza doppia e mi sono trovato molto bene. La posizione è eccellente e l'ostello è molto pulito. Mi piace molto lo stile che ha, letti comodi con molto spazio per i bagagli e una doccia ottima col bidet integrato nel wc. Ringrazio Alice per aver sistemato velocemente un disguido con la prenotazione, in generale tutto lo staff è super carino ed accogliente🫶🏻 Mega consigliato!

This is the only hostel I went to in china so I dont have anything to compare it to. Beds are very clean. Showers and toilets are cleaned daily, but need some serious deep cleaning. Bedrooms dont have windows, but each room has its own hvac control which works well. Staff were great. Breakfast is very basic. Locations is good. Hostel world map location is not correct

The staff here are the best. My friend lost her passport and without hesitating a group of staff and friendly guests helped me on the phone negotiate with the didi driver and didi service and translated everything for over 2 hours. Life savers.

清潔でセキュリティも最高でした。主要な観光地から近く居心地が良かったです。最高の時間を過ごしました。そして受付のYoyoさんがとても優しくて面白かったです。上海に行く機会があったらまた予約したいです。

2 bed bed room with private bathroom. Room are very small but very smart and easy to use. Everyday they clean and give you new towels. 4 nights everything went perfect .

I had a very great stay! The hostel is super centrally located, you can reach many things on foot. The nearest metro station was also just around the corner. Big thanks to Ryun & Melody and all the staff. Everyone was very friendly and helpful (Ryun made food for me, as the chef was not available - it was very tasty!) I will gladly come back!

Lovely staff on reception were friendly and very helpful - I arrived before check-in time to drop my bag off and as my bed was ready I was allowed to check in early for free. Compact room with en-suite shower and toilet, comfortable bed with reading light, shelf, usb charging port and locker. The hostel is close to the metro and has a large communal areas both inside and outside

The cozy hostel is really cozy. I felt as home. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. The rooms are small but very well appointed. It is very clean. It is easy to do the laundry whenever we want. The location is perfect, close to the river for a nice walk but also close to the subway station. I had a great time and I definitely recommend it !!

The property was great, loved the hospitality by the staff. The gym was also very nice. Had great memories staying there. If i ever come back to Shanghai, then surely will stay here.
