Cao Bang Eco House

Had a booking for 3 nights. During check-in they told me that there was a double booking for the second night and that I had to go to a different hostel, to then return again for the 3rd night. It turned out the other hostel was a 30min walk out of town. I wished they would have told me earlier and not right before check-in, at least I would've had the chance to consider and possibly book some other place, rather than have a night at a different hostel and then return the next day again :(

Staff is friendly but doesn’t speak English. You can rent motorbikes in very good condition there. The Hostel is not social (barely anyone was there) and the beds are super hard.

Leuk hostel. Organiseren leuke tours in en rond Cao Bang. Het huren van een scooter verloopt vlot en correct. Onderaan de hostel is een leuke bar met lekker eten. Kamers zijn oke en proper.

Private room was nice

Aardige mensen die hun best doen om je te helpen. Schone en fijne bedden. De locatie aan de rivier is leuk. Ik zou hier weer heen gaan.

I loved my stay here! The dorm beds were pretty big, and I liked the curtains and included towel. The dorm room and ensuite was clean and quite nice. The location was great, and the staff were awesome - they helped me with my laundry, booking a motorbike day tour, and booking a bus to my next location. I recommend! Also be sure to check out the restaurant on floor one, it had good food and fair prices.

Best hostel in the whole world :) super amazing friendly staff ! Mattress and cleanness like a 5 star hotel.. well located.. you can rent scooter there.. so nice that I extended my stay. They also managed to rescheduled my bus without any penalty ! Highly recommended

Hostel com camas super confortáveis e macias (apesar de muito próximas às outras, quase não dá pra passar na lateral), com staff bem acomodador e um café na parte debaixo, de frente para o rio. Também tem uma agência de viagem com o mesmo nome (cao bang eco) que ajuda com excursões.

Private room was nice

Très pratique pour boire et manger il y a tout ce qu’il faut ici! Possible de laver son linge également. Les chambres sont très propre et le lit très confortable Le personnel est adorable lorsque je suis arrivée j’étais malade j’ai pu prendre ma température et ils m’ont guidé vers une pharmacie. Ils m’ont aidé et accompagné pour prendre mon bus malgré la barrière de la langue ils sont à l’écoute et au petits soins pour vous 🫶

The Eco House is just amazing. The staff is lovely, and it's so close to the Bistro where they serve some great dishes. I recommend the pizza!

Very beautiful property right in front of the river and they have a walking market Friday's and Saturday night. Theres a cafe on the first floor. The food was pretty good.

Great quality for great price! Especially Wu (probably spelling wrong) was super helpful with everything! I wish I had more time to stay here!

The property is beautiful , clean and location is perfect . They also provide rental bikes and arrange trips for higiang loop and cao bang. The food in the restaurant is delicious

Good location just on the river, can rent bikes from them - I did for 3 days and ran fine. Rooms are clean with air con. There is a toilet separate to the shower in the room. Each bed has a light, curtain and power socket. I left my luggage here while I did the loop for free. Also the food in the restaurant is good too ☺️

More comfortable beds of all the trip so far. This place has everything. It is in the middle of a zone of the city where amazing cultural street activities happen during the night. And it is close to a bunch of places where to eat very good and variated food.

friendly staff, good rooms, good food, good rooftop. all that for good price. All good in my opinion!

Feels like a hotel! Comfortable beds, nice staff, central but not in a noisy location, and good cafe downstairs. Also very clean and good facilities:)
