Shiva Guest House Varanasi

The place is located nicely in the middle of the alleyways and super close to the ghats. The bed is fine, but the bedding seems not super clean. The shower head was literally above the toilet and the faucet kept dripping. Food was decent but the service was so slow if there were other people.

Extremely well-situated guest house, 2 minutes from the river front and in the heart of the old city. Something to note for travellers staying in the dorm, the washrooms are two steep flights of stairs down from the room.

The dorm room is bit small but the stay was cozy. You wake up with scenic beauty and can spend some time on the rooftop.

Perfect location just 30 sec. from ghats. Stuff is superfriendly and helpful, we felt welcomed there as friends. Our room was beautiful, with a lot of space and place to relax. Food in the restaurant on the rooftop is delicious, altough you have to wait for it some time. Views on Ganges. Awesome atmosphere. What else to say? Worth every rupee! Our best stay in India so far.

Amazing guesthouse, perfect central location and yet quiet. The staff is unbelievably kind and helpful, the atmosphere is awesome. Nice rooms, the rooftop is cool and the restaurant serves the best, freshest food. I’d recommend it to everyone.

This guesthouse is perfect. Very nice, clean rooms with hot water 24/7. The hosts are helpful and kind and the property feels very safe. The location is also perfect as it is close to the river and local shops. Very much enjoyed my time here. Thank you.

Nous avons passé un super séjour à Shiva GH. Le personnel était très aidant, nous a autorisé à prendre une douche et laisser nos sacs alors que notre train était à 23h à la gare de Varanasi. Localisation idéale !
