Lovely little okace doesnt have a lift and alot of stairs but absolutely 5* staff there lovely people very welcoming thanks!

Great place for the price. Had everything I needed. They are not kidding about those stairs!

I was there 2 nights, amassing location(close to the center and central station),room and bathroom clean. All staff on the reception was nice, except some lady- she wasn’t friendly and affable(((, spoke rudely and harshly(((

Damrak Inn was wonderful. I stayed in a private room, it was small but considering it was just me, it was perfect! had everything I needed and was comfortable. The shower was hot and strong which I loved. There wasn’t much else, but considering the price it was perfect. The location was amazing and the staff was helpful when I needed to check in early or wanted recommendations.

Really great stay overall! Staff were all extremely friendly & helpful, great location, comfortable accommodations, clean! Only complaint was noise from the street but I’m sure it wouldn’t be a problem for majority of the rooms. Would stay again!

Clean and well run hostel right in the center of Amsterdam!

Location was centrally located, but can noisy at night. The city taxes and app fee taxes made the booking so much more expensive so check a lot before you book. The rooms were nice and clean and amenities were well provided.

It is not a bad place and it is in a great location but it was not great and it was too expensive for the services. It felt not 100% clean, there was a lot of noice early in the morning, and it didn´t have the fun happy vibe I have expirienced in other hostels around the world. Had no shared space where you could get to know other people and it generally felt more like a cheap hotel. It is in a great location, though.

central, très propre, on est plus sur un hôtel dortoir, pas de salle commune. Idéalement situé, 10min de la gare centrale.

the room was quite dirty and could barely fit the three beds. the cleaning staff mistook one of my personal towels for one of the hotel's and took it: when i asked the reception to get it back they did not collaborate

Mi sabana tenía mancha de sangre, el cuarto tenía muy mala ventilación, y por la ventana estaba semiconectado con otro, por lo cual en el medio de la noche apareció gente en nuestra ventana, nos asustó un poco. Las almohadas son inusables, demasiado grandes y duras.

Absolutely perfect location for Amsterdam city centre and all the key tourist attractions! We were on the top floor and as there are no lifts, we had quite a few steps to climb. We are young and fit with backpacks so this was no issue for us but worth bearing in mind if you have difficulty with stairs or carry suitcases. The room was very clean, fairly modern and had all the basics we needed - bedsheets, towels, shower gel and soap included. Overall a great stay, highly recommend!

Abbiamo passato una notte in una camera privata e ci siamo trovati molto bene. La stanza era pulitissima, il bagno era moderno e molto pulito, le lenzuola e gli asciugamani sono inclusi nel prezzo, la reception è aperta 24/7 ed è molto semplice fare il check in. La posizione era perfetta, a 5 minuti a piedi dal quartiere a luci rosse, circondata da bar, locali, ristoranti e qualsiasi genere di negozio. Vicinissima a monumenti importanti. Il prezzo era un po’ alto ma nella media della città

Another tourist trap

not really a hostel vibe, felt like a cheap hotel. Lots of stairs, no elevator. Was fairly nice for my boyfriend and I. Probably better for backpackers and average travelers.

Superb location, right at the centre and close to Amsterdam Central station, red light district, Dam square and more. Anne Frank House and Van Gogh museum also at approx 1 and 1.8 km walkable distance. Clean rooms and unlimited free coffee, hot chocolate and tea. Great support from staff, very co-operative and helped in every way possible. They even allowed us an early check in on request which was very helpful for us. Definitely recommend it for a close to centre and comfortable stay.

the hotel is fine very well clean but luck services and the stairs are a problem if you have suitcases.

Tolle Lage, nur 5 Minuten bis zum Hbf. Sehr steile Treppen. Leider etwas dreckig, aber nettes Personal.
