- Rooms stink, had someone sleeping in my bed, front of staff are no help. Ended up leaving and booking a different hostel was way better

+ gute Lage, schöne Ausstattung und Sitzmöglichkeiten auf den Etagen Deluxe Pod ist mit Vorhang, Licht und Steckdose ausgestattet

- Habe einen Pod gebucht, Preis-Leistung ist aber sehr schlecht WLAN ist sehr langsam, sofern der Empfang überhaupt funktioniert und der Mobilfunkempfang im Hostel ist sehr schlecht kein Haarfön grosser Raum mit 24 Betten und einem Badezimmer Im Badezimmer (va Dusche) und im Schlaf-Dorm fehlen Ablage-Möglichkeiten (Hänger etc) Badezimmer sehr dreckig und wurde trotz meiner Rückmeldung an die Rezeption und schriftlicher Mitteilung nicht gereinigt Es fand keine Reinigung über 4 Tage statt!!! Trotz 24 Schlaf-Pods!! absolut untragbar viel Staub, Haare, Dreck aller Art und Abfall - und niemand scheint sich verantwortlich zu fühlen Unordnung und Dreck zu einem Teil auch auf Mitreisende zurückzuführen (schade, dass diese eine schlechte Kinderstube genossen haben) Hatte den Eindruck dass viele work-and-traveller hier arbeiten um easy Geld zu verdienen und das Management in seiner Führungs- und Kontrollfunktion komplett versagt es ist der einfachere Weg Geld einkassieren, als sich um ein funktionierendes Hostel und zufriedene Gäste zu kümmern sehr schade um dieses schöne Hostel, das Potential für mehr hätte…

- This hostel was by far the worst I’ve been to. The room was extremely compact, nothing like the images advertised. The under bed storage was broken, so there was nowhere secure to store my belongings unless you want to pay her hour. The rooms were also filthy. The bathroom was not cleaned once in my 4 day stay, and the bin was also not emptied. There is a clear issue with long term ‘guests’ (workers who are yet to find apartments) doing whatever they want - stealing beds, food, ignoring quiet hours and taking up all the free space in the room. Due to the bed stealing, a male receptionist came into our room at midnight, talking loudly about people being on the wrong beds and woke everyone up. One very tiny bathroom for 10 people is not enough. There should definitely be communal bathrooms on each floor. Please also be aware the steps are very steep to the upper beds. The keys are stored on your phone which in theory is a great idea - but they don’t work a lot of the time, especially for the front door. There is a lot of potential for this to be a great place, but they really are missing the mark currently.

- No free lockers in rooms, only charge per hour lockers downstairs… Highway robbery No 24 hour kitchen — old property used to have one kitchen on every floor, all were 24 hours… Now there’s one kitchen in the basement that’s locked after 10pm… Ridiculous

+ Very little… if I have to say one good thing about this place, it would be the location.

- I normally don’t write reviews, but this stay was so disappointing that I feel I have to. The hostel looks amazing in the photos, and the first impression when you walk in is good. But that’s where it ends. In reality, it’s one of the dirtiest hostels I’ve stayed in. My room smelled like a locker room after a heavy sports match — strong, stale, and constant. The bathroom had a persistent sewage-like odor. I complained several times, but nothing was properly resolved. The room had no ventilation: windows couldn’t be opened, the air conditioning was locked at 23–24°C, and there was no fresh airflow. It felt airtight and uncomfortable. Cleanliness was clearly not a priority. Beds were changed between guests, but I did not see proper cleaning of surfaces or floors. It felt very unhygienic. On top of that, there were loud parties on Sunday nights until 2–3 a.m., making it difficult to rest. I paid €250 for one week, which I consider a lot for hostel standards. I’ve stayed in hostels across many countries for far less money and experienced much better hygiene and comfort. Great photos and good marketing, but unfortunately the reality does not match. Very disappointing.

- The Indian receptionist wouldn't pay any attention to you when you checked in, nor would he offer any assistance or introduction. He provided no help at all. When you had problems, he said he couldn't do anything. In the end, I had to handle the check-in myself. The experience was extremely poor. When I first arrived in this city of Melbourne, he left a very bad impression on me. I have been using Booking for accommodation for over a decade, and this is my first time giving a bad review. A score of 0 means that this is the worst receptionist I have ever encountered among all the ones I have stayed with, and there was no service at all!

- I really HATED this place. To begin with, the automatic door keys doesn’t know 50% of the time. The WiFi doesn’t work in the room; I tried asking in the reception for help but a really rude dude said that it was probably just me because no one else complained (talked with a girl in my room with same problem). There was no signal either so couldn’t use data. It’s really antisocial I found that no one actually looked up from there phone or at least looked each other in the eyes. When you book it doesn’t say how many people are actually in the dorm. I payed for a bottom bunk and got a middle one… My room was right on top of the club in the hostel and that was really loud, I wear earplugs always, but the bas literally pumped in my bed. I have zero nice things to say about this place.

- 房間空間安排真的很差，第一次看到三層（三個床位）的上下鋪，壓迫性很強很不舒服，甚至也沒有置物櫃可以使用。 另外房間的走道小到甚至無法打開行李箱，在一個狹窄的空間裡面硬是塞了快20個床位，真的是很擠連行走都難。旅館裡也沒有洗衣機，如果要洗衣服需要走快一公里去外面自助洗衣。 我在澳洲布里斯本、坎培拉、雪梨等各城市總共住過10個青年旅館，這真的是我遇到最差勁的住宿體驗了！

+ Best Hostel in the world !!!! Every time I’m coming over I stay at the little drifter in Melbourne ( Franklin street one:) the hostel has such a good equipment , laundry room , kitchen and many activities to give but what makes it the best are the lovely people who work there always there, have a open ear and help you immediately also thanks to Eoin who gives the best insider spots !

+ The curtains and design of the beds made them very private. There were lots of communal areas which were very clean. The highlight of my stay were the reception staff who were so kind and helpful - especially Eoin.

+ Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and functional. Curtains around the bunks gave good privacy. The common lounge areas off the rooms were modern, quiet and comfortable, great space to relax away from the bar and kitchen area.

- Bed was comfortable enough but the pillows were very hard.

+ 立地はとても良いです。市内の中心部へは歩いて行くことができ、周囲にトラムの駅も複数あるため、どこへ行くにも便利です。また、飲食店も多いエリアなので、食事にも困りません。またドライヤーをフロントで借りることができました。

- 清掃が数日に一回しかありません。また、掃除が行き届いているとは言えません。部屋の中と共用スペースでねずみを見ました。ハウスキーピングの方は毎日来ているようですが、部屋のゴミ箱はいっぱいでなければ回収されませんし、水回りも特段汚れていなければ掃除されません。清掃後でも部屋のあちこちにゴミが落ちています。水回りの髪の毛などが気になる方は、数日我慢しなければいけないので、かなりしんどいと思います。 また、洗面所や鏡の近くにコンセントがありません。ドライヤーやヘアアイロンなどを鏡のない場所でしなければならないので、かなり不便でした。

+ The hotel location is great. Tram stop and market is beside, many restaurants all around, very easy. The bed is comfy as many other comments said.

- Our room was lower floor, so it was a bit noisy with the street drinkers on Saturday night. Unfortunately, there was a teenager sport club group more than 20 girls. Very noisy just outside the room ... but those were unlucky situation and not for everyday. It was difficult to find a space in the fridge.

+ The location is great! Accessible to the shopping centers,trams,near Queen Victoria Market, hospitals,etc.

- I get the upper bunker for being the last to arrive 😞.Going up and down is a struggle,but it's all worth it!
