Super chill stay close to the beach

Had a great time at CU hostel. Everyone working there was very friendly and so were all the guests. Being a minute from the beach is never a downside!

Sehr freundliche und liebe Menschen. Es gobt immer wieder einen Event mit allen zusammen und sie organisieren dir auch eine Aktivität, wie z.B. Schnorcheln, wenn du eine machen möchtest. Sehr sauber, schöne geräumige Zimmer und hat zusätzlich noch eine Outdoordusche. Kann ich sehr gut empfehlen!

bestes Hostel in Sri Lanka! Super nahe am Strand, sauber, Cocktails und Bier am Abend mit chilliger Musik, freundliche lustige Leute. Der Vibe stimmt!

10/10. Favourite hostel I’ve ever stayed at. It’s a little haven in the paradise that is Trinco. Dochi and Dr Jackie (the hosts) are a pure joy, working tirelessly to curate an immaculate comfortable and family vibe. There’s always music and incense. Sometimes drinks in evening (if you want) and many family dinners. Hostel is clean and comfortable. Everything is handmade and locally designed. 1 minute walk to the beach!!

This hostel was top notch. The staff consisted of amazing, kind and hardworking people who really care about their guests. I felt warmly welcomed and I felt at home in C U. The environment is so beautiful and Uppuveli beach is a 1 minute walk away. All around good vibes and I really miss the puppy...

Amazing hostel! Near by the beach. Staff was so friendly and helpfull! Its clean and its good vibes. Chill if you want a more quiet hostel. Only thing that the bathroom sink is smelly, but not really bothering

Petit hostel vraiment chouette ! Très calme et cozy. L’extérieur est parfait, avec des canapés, des tables, des hamacs. Chambres de 4 personnes, casiers très pratiques, rideaux pour les lits, salle de bain fonctionnelle. Le personnel est très gentil et aidant. Et l’emplacement est parfait, à 2 minutes à pied de la plage :) On recommande à 100% !

I spent five nights at C U Hostel and had a great tim.The facilities are clean, the staff are super helpful and friendly and go the extra mile for you. Almost every night there were people from the hostel itself or other people staying in Trinco gathered for a drink or two, very good energy. They have a bar and sell drinks for fair prices. Everyone I met there was very open minded and welcoming. Wish them the best and can only recommend

CU Hostel is small (max 8 guests) but super friendly and chill. Staff are kind (thankyou Ori for the yoga session!) They host fun activities like sunset walks and BBQs with other travelers. Garden is spacious, perfect for relaxing. Rooms have AC, fans, and privacy curtains. Great arrakatak cocktails and evening fire gatherings. Not a party spot, but very social. Atmosphere can vary depending on guests.

Lovely hostel, great location right by the beach and Fernandos beach club. Staff were friendly and they have 3 dogs. Unfortunately the bathroom was very dirty, and kept completely running out of water so we were not able to shower, wash our face or flush the toilet.

Nice hostel close to the beach. Not social when we visited, but we only stayed for one night.
