Nômades Riverside | Adventure Hostels & Coworking

Doesn’t look like the photos at all.. very small and a bit outdated. Private room was tiny and had about 30 mosquitos in when we arrived so even after getting rid of a lot we were constantly being bitten. Kitchen is really cramped, there was always way to many people in there trying to cook and never any space in the fridge.. beach is about a £4 Uber each way, overall wouldn’t go back.

Fue decepcionante. Las fotos no reflejan el estado del hostal. Esta desordenado y poco cuidado. La ubicacion te obliga a ir en uber a todos lados y no especifican que está al lado de un taller y muelle de lanchas, por lo que se escucha ruido constantemente. Tampoco habian kayaks. La cama y almohada eran muy duras e incomodas para dormir. El desayuno comienza a las 8 actualmente lo que es tarde, considerando que los tours inician a esa hora y solo son tostadas y cafe

Very disappointing !! Weird atmosphere and fake advertisement !! There are way to many volunteers in the house, most of them don’t speak english so they’ll just ignore you if you cannot speak spanish. Generally speaking they just live their life in between them. That creates an overall weird and uncomfortable atmosphere What is advertised on hostelworld is just not true. The pictures do not represent the place, and some utilities in the list are missing. Don’t waste your time there !...

The location of this hostel is really bad. Its on the opposite side of the river from the town so you have to walk like 40 minutes through jungle and peoples yards to get to the beach/town. The bed was exactly 6 ft long so my head and feet were both resting on wood at night. Theres no escape from mosquitos, they buzz around your ears at night. Other than that the coworking space was nice, but overall would not recommend this place to anyone.

Honestly I wanted to find reasons to love this hostel. It was was such a disappointment. The staff are nice but the hostel isn’t good . As a coworking hostel the internet was terrible, only one plug for each room. I was told to leave my phone outside the room to charge. The common spaces were also filthy. Bugs everywhere, kitchen filthy. More staff then guests and still dirty? Staff just hanging out outside instead of the hostel. Outdoor area nothing as advertised. Stay at their beach hostel

I had private suite. Bathroom wasn't clean, had cockroaches The place and outside garden is full of mosquitoes that makes it impossible to set outside, their pest control is rubbish. Staff is less than hospitable, they are ok Location is great this is probably the best thing of this place

The place it’s ok. I had a great experience because of the staff, volunteers and people staying there. But the hostel needs an urgent makeover. At least, they should buy good functional (not broken) kitchen utensils: catering, pans, dishes and cups.

It’s NOTHING like pictures. The little pier featured on the main photo doesn’t even exist, or it’s covered with yachts since there is like a Marina right by the hostel. The kitchen is full of flies (I understand the outside is very green but STILL!!!) and breakfast? (7-10 am) Only Toasts and coffee can’t be it. Also, one day I went 09:30 am and there was almost nothing left (at least the first day I could ate a panqueque made by one of the volunteers)

Lovely hostel with friendly staff and very clean. Location is between the more touristy Laggoa and the beaches, so if you look for that perfect spot.

Perfect if traveling solo. I meet cool people first night and everyone was very open. Fun place but not crazy loud.

Good social hostel. Easy to talk with people and common area always has something happening.

The river setting makes this place special. Watching the sunset by the water was a highlight.

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue extraordinaria. Gracias a los voluntarios y trabajadores de allí que fueron muy amables, serviciales y amigables. El lugar es muy tranquilo y lindo. Super recomendable y definitivamente volvería otra vez

I had such a lovely stay here! The staff truly made me feel at home from day one so warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. The atmosphere is friendly and cozy. The only small downside is that the kitchen could use a few more utensils, but overall, an amazing experience!

¡Muy recomendable este hostal! La cocina y las habitaciones están muy bien equipadas y limpias. La atención de sus trabajadores es excelente, nos ayudaron en todo momento con panoramas, entregándonos recomendaciones de hermosos lugares, muy simpáticos. La vibra de este hostal es súper buena y relajada :) Si vuelvo a Florianopolis de seguro vuelvo acá.

Fiquei apenas uma noite, mas foi o suficiente pra ter uma ótima experiência. Hostel confortável, com boa estrutura e cercado de natureza, com equipe super receptiva. O lado social foi o ponto alto: participei de uma trilha em grupo organizada pelo hostel, que facilitou a conexão com outras pessoas.

Loved my stay on riverside as a nomad. All the volunteers are amazing and so kind which made my experience there so worth it, it felt like a family. Some things of the hostel are outdated and not accurate on the listing, but hopefully that can be fixed soon for future guests.

Perfect balance between work and adventure. Daily activities, yoga and swims in the canal, plus a calm coworking vibe.

A real chill place at the river, you will feel at home really quickly. Salva is probably the nicest guy in the whole world

Ich kann die Unterkunft wirklich empfehlen! Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben, weil wir uns so wohl gefühlt haben. Die Unterkunft an sich ist mit dem Nötigsten ausgestattet, bietet eine große Küche zum Kochen &liegt ziemlich direkt an einem Fluss mit einer ziemlich starken Strömung :) Aber vor allem die Mitarbeitenden und Volunteers machen das Hostel sehr besonders! Dadurch dass sich eig alle immer unten im Haus aufhalten, verbringt man viel Zeit zusammen, ein sehr gemeinschaftliches ...
