Caribo Cozumel

Ac in the room ran hot, so that was a bummer. Our private bathroom was downstairs, so that was a bit of a hassle & the shower was tiny & got the floor wet all over. Other than that it was okay.

My room I was assigned was the loudest room I ever slept in. Two of my room walls border busy streets. My room only enjoyed about 4 hours of no noise. It's not just the loud cars and trucks I heard, I also heard daily dogs fighting. Every time I moved, my wooden bed headboard banged against the cement wall and make noise. I stayed for three days and I didn't engage in a single conversation with any other hostel guest., I did try.

Nur bei der Bezahlung wurde in unserem Fall mit einem Wechselkurs von 21 statt 19,6 gerechnet, sodass uns 2 Euro mehr pro Nacht abgezogen wurde. Als wir darauf hingewiesen haben, kam nur die Reaktion: ernsthaft 6€? !Bezahlung ko...

Clean and pretty comfortable room. Unfortunately our aircon leaked water and had mould in it so that agitated my partners allergies. Caribo is definitely more of a B&B, so if you want somewhere social this isn’t for you. Was a little way out of the main town. Staff were helpful at checkin but then weren’t really around much so we didn’t get any recommendations and checked out with no-one there again.

The host was very helpful suggesting different tours and places to visit. We booked the snorkelling tour and it was fantastic! I would stay here again.

Stayed as a couple. The Hostel is about a 15 minute walk from the boat port and restaurants/bars, but the walk felt safe and wasn't too bad. The Staff were lovely and super helpful - getting our washing done for us too! Nice little pool on site to relax, and a little kitchen - offering water for guests. As we were out and only there for one evening, I'm not sure on the atmosphere or other guests - but was definitely a lovely place to relax for the two of us.

Very nice, central location, scooter rental on site, lovely hosts that can give recommendations for what to see and so on Cozumel. Water is provided so u can fill up your bottle for day trips. tidy communal kitchen with everything u need when not dining out. very clean.

Booked a private room. Great place to stay at. The owners are so welcoming and give great advice. Lovely areas to hang out and great room and bathroom.

Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt und wurden ganz herzlich begrüßt. Das Hostel ist sehr familiär und die beiden Gastgeberinnen machen alles dafür, dass ihre Gäste sich wohl fühlen. Ein Supermarkt ist direkt zwei Blocks weiter, sodass man die Küche sehr gut nutzen kann :) Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können jedem einen Aufenthalt hier empfehlen. P.s. Das Parken in der Seitenstraße war ohne Probleme möglich.

This place was ideal for our stay in Cozumel. Perfectly located near the town center and a grocery store, with warm and helpful staff, spotless facilities, and a lovely little pool to cool off after a day out. I hope I get the chance to return!

Lovely place to stay, really enjoyed cooking here in the little kitchen that has everything you need to whip up a meal. The pool was nice and relaxing and a comfortably social environment. One of the nest hosts we have had on our trip so many beautiful recommendations and just a general nice vibe. Would stay again.

I never write any reviews, but this has been the most amazing place we’ve stayed at on our Mexico trip. Cindy and Jorge were just the friendliest people and helped us with everything. Very thankful for this stay! Cannot recommend this place enough.

Hotel aménagé avec soin, paisible et tranquille. À une dizaine de minutes à pied du centre, dans une rue calme. Personnel très accueillant, pas d'option de petit déjeuner mais du café à disposition le matin qui est bien apprécié ! La chambre était assez sombre (pas de vraie fenêtre) et en cours d'aménagement donc il manquait quelques meubles, accroches, lampes mais tout était très propre, la salle de bain grande et pratique et les lits confortables.

Great location. Walking distance to 95% of all you might be interested in. Close enough to the water and tourist areas but far enough in the residence areas to find local food at local prices. Very clean and very safe. Great staff.

Un muy buen lugar, limpio, cómodo. La concierge Cecilia es un 10. La cama matrimonial es un poco pequeña pero por lo demás muy bien

Lovely calm hostel with a pretty little pool area, nice staff and great recommendations for activities. Only the kitchen could be a bit better equipped. It's close to the center but not directly in the touristy area, so it feels a bit more local which we really enjoyed.

Caribo Cozumel hat uns unglaublich gut gefallen!! Celeste war sehr liebenswert und hat uns nützliche Tipps bezüglich Restaurants und Touren gegeben. Lage war gut (15 Gehminuten von der Fähre, bisschen ausserhalb, ruhig in der Nacht, in der Nähe ein grosser Supermarkt, Wechselstube). Die Küche wurde während unserem Aufenthalt renoviert, trotzdem konnten wir Teller und Besteck haben, um auf der schönen Terrasse beim kleinen Pool zu frühstücken. Wasser war auch zur Verfügung.

Aanrader! Caribo Cozumel is een rustig hostel. Exact wat we zochten. Leuke inrichting met veel kleine hoekjes en plekjes buiten. Het personeel is super! Celeste heeft ons heel veel tips gegeven. Enige minpuntje was dat de wifi 2 dagen niet werkte.
