Ik heb een review geschreven op google daar is op gereageerd maar ik kan daar nier op reageren er zaten bed bugs in mijn bed en mijn hele lichaam zat onder ze proberen te zeggen dat het niet waar is/ik ze zelf heb meegenomen dit is absoluut niet waar! ik ben ontzettend alert en leg nooit mijn tas bij mijn bed ik heb ze in deze situatie niet zien lopen maar wel stukjes huid/bloedvlekjes gezien en mijn beten waren volgens de dokter absoluut bed bugs de volgende dag zag ik ze op het bed (dood)
I wrote a review on google there is on reacted but I can there deny on react there were already bed bugs in my bed and my whole body sat under they were trying to say that it's not true/I brought them myself this is absolutely not true! i am very alert and never put my bag by my bed i have them in this situation not see walking but but well pieces of skin/bloodvlekjes seen and my prayers were according to the doctor absolutely bed bugs the next day i saw them on the bed (dead)
BED BUGS. I feel awful writing this review because it was a lovely place and very hospitable. I was contemplating if I should even write this but I found bed bugs in the bed and they gave me a refund for the night but didn’t inform the other girl still in the room that there were bed bugs in the room. So unfortunately, as I would want to know. I’m informing others.
In many ways, this was a wonderful hostel. However, there was one fairly significant problem that can’t be overlooked…ants and COCKROACHES in the bunks. I can live with ants, but not cockroaches (for those of you who don’t know, they’re a danger to human health). A lot of people don’t notice them because they only come out in the dark, but I did. I feel bad leaving this review, but people need to know. Had I known, I wouldn’t have stayed.
Horrible location. Nothing around except for the national park. Rest of the town 20-30min scooter ride. Ants in multiple beds. Aircons are set way to hot and you can’t adjust them. Staff speaks nearly no English. Breakfast is nice tho. Check the map for other hostels what are better placed! Not the worst hostel but value for money makes it not worth it. Only 1 bar around the hostel (Why not bar). Stay at Slacklines or somewhere around that area. Go to Fusion Bar for a nice lunch in the beach. ...
Nice buildings, very fresh. the rooms are like long corridors with the ac in one end so one end of the room becomes freezing and the other end slightly warm. There are fans to mitigate this but people keep turning them of. Not very social most people like to sit alone with computers or phones.
Très bon hostel, très calme dans le nord de l’île ! Attention sans scooter c’est très loin de tout ! Les chambres sont propres, les lits confortables avec du rangement. Personnel adorable ! Le petit déjeuné est très bien, avec du café et de l’eau gratuit toute la journée.
Very good hostel, very quiet in the north of the island ! Attention without scooter is very far from everything ! The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable with storage. The staff is lovely ! The breakfast is very good, with free coffee and water all day.
Over het algemeen waren de voorzieningen goed van het hostel en er hangt een chille vibe. Weet wel dat het hostel redelijk ver van het ‘centrum’ vandaan ligt. De badkamers en vooral de wc’s hadden ze wel wat vaker schoon mogen maken.
Overall the facilities were good from the hostel and there is a cool vibe hanging around. know that the hostel is quite far away from the center. the bathrooms and especially the toilets they could have cleaned a little more often.
Amazing hostel in a more chilled part of the island but still with bars and restaurants nearby. Great social but relaxed atmosphere. Bedrooms were clean and breakfast included was great. Only complaints were the bathrooms could do with being a bit cleaner and that it felt quite expensive compared to other options.
Insgesamt war das Hostel ganz gut, auch Frühstück war sehr gut. Allerdings hatten wir leider in einem unserer Betten Bettwanzen und mussten dann auch noch zahlen, um unsere betroffene Wäsche zu waschen.
Overall the hostel was very good, also the breakfast was very good, however we had unfortunately in one of our Bedten Bettwanzen and had to pay to wash our affected laundry.
Unfortunately, all of the doors were open so there were so many mosquitos especially when going to the toilet or to have a shower, we also got bit in bed a lot. The beds were super comfy and private. Please be aware if you check-out early you do not receive your deposit back unlike most other hostels where you do. This wasn’t communicated very well. Rent a bike as the island is pretty remote. Breakfast is homemade and fresh every morning - delicious!

This hostel is so good, I had the best sleep ever here and it’s so clean. Only thing is there are a lot of mosquitos in the showers/toilets but it was very clean.
Great place to stay, family run and comfy. Not the biggest hostel but close to great restaurants, beach and 7/11. Beds were so comfy and had a proper duvet, with huge lockers for storage. Showers and toilets outside split by male/female and were always clean. Cooked breakfast each morning, was always tasty! Would stay here every time in Koh Lanta.
It’s pretty remote, but it was well maintained, I unfortunately went past twice because I couldn’t see the sign which needs to be lowered on the street level. I’m an older guy comes 72 but I like staying at the hostels on occasion. I’ve stayed in quite a few in the 66 countries that I visited so far. This one was one one of the better ones, tried to see the bunks is very good and the storage boxes were very large and accommodating, and even had a light within them. Thanks.
Zag er erg mooi uit en een fijn bed! Personeel was erg vriendelijk en meedenkend!

I had a lovely stay. The bed was comfortable, good curtain, and plug, light etc and clean. They gave a good breakfast and coffee and water during the day. Generally a really nice vibe snd helpful staff. It’s just a couple of minutes walk to the beach. It’s in the south of the island in a lovely bay which also has lots of hotels/ resorts. It’s further from the port and worth being aware for transfers etc.
Great stay, very nice rooms & facilities. Not the most social place and a bit out of the way from where you arrive, but a nice getaway & you can make friends if you make a bit of effort :)
Loved this hostel, I extended my stay 3 times. Very comfortable and great outdoor spaces to relax on bean bags
I loved my stay at AHA. I was planning on staying for 3 nights but me and all the other guests kept extending our stay. Perfect combination of a social hostel where it is easy to meet new people but not a party hostel. I also loved this area of the island, away from the busy streets and closer to the beaches and tranquility. The only negative thing about this hostel was the bathrooms that did not feel so private.
Ich kann dieses Hostel nur weiterempfehlen. Die Atmosphäre und das leckere Frühstück hat uns sehr überzeugt. Es lohnt sich definitiv ein Roller zu mieten, ansonsten ist es eher schwierig sich fortzubewegen.
I can only recommend this hostel. the atmosphere and the delicious breakfast very much convinced us. it is definitely worth renting a roller, otherwise it is rather difficult to move around.
Mit eines der besten Hostels. Das gesamte Hostel ist so schön gestaltet, es gibt eine riesige und super entspannte Common Area, das inkludierte Frühstück ist super und wird für jeden frisch zubereitet. Alles sehr sauber, große und komfortable Betten, viel Stauraum für das Gepäck. Strand in 3 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. 7/11 direkt um die Ecke. Das Hostel hilft einem bei allen Fragen und man kann das meiste (Ausflüge, Transport etc) auch direkt dort buchen. Absolute Weiterempfehlung!
With one of the best hostels. The whole hostel is so beautifully designed, there is a huge and super relaxed Common Area, the included Breakfast is great and is freshly prepared for everyone. Everything is very clean, large and comfortable Beds, plenty of Stauraum for luggage. Beach in 3 minutes walking to reach. 7/11 right around the corner. The hostel helps one with all questions and one can book most of the (Excursion, Transport etc.) also directly there. Absolutely Recommended!
Super gutes Hostel, das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und nett, auch als wir einen kleine gesundheitlichen Zwischenfall hatten. Sämtliche Aktivitäten und sonstige Anliegen können für teilweise bessere Preise über die Unterkunft geklärt werden. Waschservice war super schnell. Es war zudem immer sauber. Frühstück war auch super. Ich würde mir wünschen, dass die Hostelzimmer immer verschlossen sind, weil theoretisch jederzeit jeder ins Hostel und in die Zimmer kommen kann. 100% Empfehlun...
Super gutes Hostel, the staff was very helpful and nice, even though we had a small health incident. All activities and other concerns can be sorted out through the accommodation for partially better Prices. Washing service was super quick. It was also always clean. Breakfast was also great. I would like the hostel rooms to be always closed, because theoretically anyone can come into the hostel and the rooms at any time. 100% recommend!
this was the nicest hostel I stayed at in Thailand. such a homely place to stay with plenty of areas to chill and the staff can’t do enough for you, whether that’s making free breakfast, printing things off for you or arranging airport transfers. I don’t have a bad word to say about it
Wirklich ein ganz tolles Hostel, hab mich hier sowohl gefühlt. Chill Area mit Sitzsäcken, gutes Frühstück, Mitarbeiter:innen extrem freundlich! Man kann zu Fuß zum Strand, 7/11, Massage und zu einigen Restaurants - würde es auf jeden Fall empfehlen und nochmal buchen :))
Really a very nice hostel, I felt both here. chill area with seatbags, good breakfast, staff extremely friendly! you can walk to the beach, 7/11, massage and some restaurants - would definitely recommend it and book again :))
very nice hostel. everything is nice and clean. free breakfast and separated bathrooms are very nice. beds are big and comfortable and ac is working well. located very close to one of the beaches!
Loved this hostel, close to beaches, restaurants, 7/11. Beds and bathrooms were clean and the morning breakfast was amazing. Lovely outdoor common space and was social. Would highly recommend!

I really loved this hostel. The staff is so nice and welcoming, my bed was comfortable and the hostel had a really chill vibe. Loved the breakfast and location in the Southern part of Koh Lanta. It’s definitely one of the best histels I have stayed at 🫶
I loved every minute of my stay at Aha hostel, I extended my stay and still didn’t want to leave. Couldn’t recommend this hostel enough.

The best hostel I've ever stayed in. Very social in the evenings with a great atmosphere in the chill-out area, but pleasantly quiet at night. The beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic. The location is a bit out of the way, but there's still plenty to do. Highly recommended.
