C Lanta Hostel - Adults Only

Pros: beachfront Cons: I've never stayed somewhere so poorly maintained, everything is dirty, the bathrooms are disgusting, there's loose tiles & flooring everywhere which is dangerous, I had to ask 2 times for our room to be cleaned when it is meant to be cleaned daily and wasn't even clean when I checked in, good luck getting a seat at the pool there's 20 chairs for like 80 people staying at the hostel. Save your money & stay somewhere else, you will want to explore all the beaches anyway

Pro: - location- right on the beach, walking distance to 7/11 and restaurants - staff was nice Con: - There was dirt in my room on the floor that was there the entire time -the room reeked of mold - the bathrooms were not clean, the floor in particular was disgusting and really needed to be mopped. Trashes in the bathroom were overflowing -womens dorm did not have lockers, but not the female room in the mixed door - when I opened the wash machine, a swarm of mosquitoes came out.

Insgesamt ein schönes Hostel in ruhiger Lage direkt am Strand mit Pool. Das Wasser im Badezimmer war teils braun. Wir mussten unseren Aufenthalt wegen einer bakteriellen Infektion früh abbrechen und laut Arzt waren mehrere Hostelgäste betroffen. Wir vermuten, dass es am vom Hostel bereitgestellten gefilterten Trinkwasser liegt. Der Kontakt des Hostels (Konversation zog sich 1 Monat) nannte ein Attest als Rückerstattungsbedingung. Nach dem Einreichen, erhielten wir trotzdem keine Rückerstatt...

The stay was quite good, with the best aspects being the pool and the location right on the beach. However, 28€ per night is expensive, as better hostels with breakfast included can be found for half the price. The dorms were clean with lockers, curtains, and other basic amenities, but quite simple. The atmosphere wasn’t very social, and nothing was organized, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re into meeting people. Since most hostels are close to the beach, the location isn’t wort...

This hostel is very new and still unfinished. Only 1 out of 6 female showers locked properly, 1 was out of order, and all flooded when in use. One of the electrical sockets next to the beds exploded, and it short-circuits when you're charging more than one device. Location is great though, out of the busy center, right next to a lovely beach and close to shops and restaurants. Staff was lovely when they allowed me to move from top to bottom bunk when I was sick. Not super social. Has potential.

It’s not clean and the bathroom and dorms smell bad. If your on a budget and not to worried about these things it’s a ok alternative.

Beach and pool was beautiful. The restaurant was expensive. The steps were dangerous and broken and I tripped a few times. The bathrooms were gross and nowhere to place anything down in the showers. The doors to the bathroom swung inward and you had little to no room. The sinks had a million little black ant type bugs on it so couldn’t set anything on it in the mornings.

Die Lage direkt am Strand und der Pool sind toll! Schön war, dass wir statt dem gebuchten 20er Dorm ein 6er Dorm bekommen haben. Das Zimmer hatte allerdings kein Fenster und es hat wegen der fehlenden Lüftungsmöglichkeiten sehr gestunken. Die Betten wackeln und quietschen bei jeder Bewegung. Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer und in den Sanitäranlagen sind ausbaufähig. Häufig waren am Pool alle Liegen belegt! Evtl könnte man hier die Anzahl erhöhen.

das Hostel ist an sich super.Um das Hostel gibt es aber einen Teich mit Fröschen der es nachts unertragbar macht

The place it's quite good for the price, a little bit dirty specially the bathrooms. The beds are very comfortable. The pool is amazing and the hostel is literally in front of the beach. Would go back 100%

Okay hostel but bathrooms especially showers weren’t really clean

Super hostel, le personnel est tellement gentil, un grand merci à toute l’équipe. Petit bémol sur les équipement, pas de bouilloire, pas de micro ondes ( pourtant indiquer comme équipements sur Hostelworld), et internet qui ne fonctionne pas dans les chambres. Pour finir je trouve que 1000 baht de caution c’est un peu abusé, mais bon, c’est dans les conditions générales, donc soit on accepte, sois non !!!

Très bien placé, très bel endroit ! Mais la propreté laisse à désirer, les salles de bain sont sales et le sol des chambres pas au top…

Directly at the beach with really nice sunsets! Friendly staff and cheap. It's a quiet and chill area. A scooter is advantageous.

Great place if you want to relax!

Beautiful spot , you can chill , bed was comfortable , they kindly changed my bed, lovely pizza place right close to the hostel on the beach , wonderful sourdough pizzas , such a good spot to be , the seas amazing , and the pool just of the beach , there kind staff , and down the beach there are beach bars lot if places to go and eat . Shop only down the road . Would definitely recommend , and would return hopefully one day . Thank you for a lovely stay

Fijn hostel, rustige dorms en zachte bedden. Vlakbij het strand en met zwembad. Jammer dat het niet echt sociaal is en er geen activiteiten worden georganiseerd vanuit het hostel.

We LOVED this hostel, was amazing to go to relax. They had the best pool and beach with the prettiest sunsets and lovely nearby restaurants. The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond even dropping our friend at her hotel past midnight when there were no available taxis. Nearby 7/11 and was amazed by the value would 100% recommend. One thing to note is pack your insect repellent as there seemed to be a lot of mosquitoes on the island which can come into the rooms. Thank you so much!!

best hostel I've stayed at, felt more like a resort. properly air-conditioned rooms, perfect location with both an amazing infinity pool and direct access to the beach. lots of storage space in the dorms and multiple electrical outlets per bed. close to a lot of restaurants and beautiful beaches. felt very bohemian, relaxed and overall just an amazing experience, would stay for a month if I could.

The best hostel i have stayed in on mye trip in SEA

Très bon Hostel dans le sud de Koh lanta. La piscine avec vue sur la mer est juste incroyable. Les chambres sont propres, mais un peu plus de ménage dans les toilettes ou les douches seraient mieux (attendre 12h pour avoir du papier toilettes c’est un peu long) Sinon très bon Hostel

hostel sympa, avec une ambiance vraiment chill. les dortoirs et toilettes sont propres. mais la piscine et la plage quelle dommage je suis moi même fumeuse mais je ne mets pas mes mégots partout. il y en avait partout près de la piscine et surtout sur la plage. l'hostel devrait sensibiliser ses clients. si vous n'avez pas de scooter toute l'île pratique des prix cher pour les trajet par personne vraiment vraiment dommage. 600baht pour deux pour aller à l'hôtel, 250bath pour un trajet...!

Gorgeous stay! Comfy beds, gorgeous pool and beach and the most beautiful sunsets, friendly staff, relaxed vibe but social around the pool etc. Nice choice of bars and restaurants nearby and bike rentals etc.
