Refúgio Hostel Fortaleza

No atmosphere, no air conditioning, rooms are super hot inside. The hostel is ok, but I’d not come back.

On a adoré notre séjour dans cette auberge, confortable, sécurisée et propre. Cuisine bien équipée et ventilateurs dans les chambres. Petit déjeuner très sympa !

Very nice hostel and perfect position

Staff were very helpful, washing came back in about 6 hours. Hostel felt safe but the streets surrounding felt very dodgy, wouldn’t want to walk the area. kitchen equipment could be updated and it was quiet. Nice place for a couple nights though.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Small things could be improved, eg. The only frying pan had no handle. The rooms didn’t have a/c, the fans didn’t cover the whole room so it was often very humid and sweaty.

Good location, friendly and helpful staff. Both the dorms and the private rooms are nice. Would stay here again.

Super Hostel! I loved it!

This is how every hostel should be. Simple, but with everything you want. The first hostel in Brazil which had everything you need in the bathrooms, like space, pegs and hot water. The bunk beds were comfy and you can sit on the bottom bunk without hitting your head. They had a movie night while I was there. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with lots of options. Lots of comunal space to sit and hang out. I'll be back :)

Super komfortables Hostel.Gute Lage. Nice Atmosphäre und vor allem der Komfort und die Ausstattung sind toll. Jedes Bett hat eine Ablage und Steckdose. Es gibt zwei private Badezimmer für ein Zimmer mit 8 Personen plis zusätzliche Badezimmer außerhalb. Küche mit Mikrowelle, Toaster, etc. Aufenthaltsbereiche mit Spielen, Büchern, etc. Und eine WhatsApp Gruppe mit Ausflugsideen. Einziger Hinweis im Bad vlt. noch eine Ablage fü Shampoo. Und schließt nachts die Balkontür, sonst stechen euch...

Loved my stay here over carnival, super sociable hostel and was very clean! The cleaning staff were amazing and really thoroughly cleaned the bedrooms regularly which is quite rare in a hostel

Super Hostel, alles ordentlich, sicher und sauber. Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Online Checkin möglich. Kommunikation vor dem Eintreffen unkompliziert auf WhatsApp möglich. Die anderen Gäste waren auch alle sehr angenehm. Zukünftig meine erste Wahl für Aufenthalte in Fortaleza :-)

lo bueno: excelente ubicación, desayuno muy bueno,buenacocina, buena información de tours y en general. Lo malo: camas y ropa de cama vieja y algo aburrido sin actividades ni espacios para conocer gente...

It is a really nice Hostel, cute decoration, but the vibe is a bit boring. Not too social, but the staff is very lovely.

Very nice hostel and perfect position

I was impressed with the large private room. It was very clean and spacious, the bathroom was also very large and clean and it had a nice outdoor exit. The staff were all extremely nice, friendly, and helpful. I was anxious at first as it was my first time in Fortaleza but the hostel really did feel like an oasis.

I actually only stayed here during the day because I had a night bus but if I return to Fortaleza I will definitely stay here. Vitoria at the front desk was so pleasant and the place is an incredible value. I love the location and there are a lot of common spaces and a full kitchen for everyone to use. I was very impressed!

Perfect for a short stay in Fortaleza! Friendly statt that speaks English and always willing to help!

Me gustó mucho el ambiente del hostel, las áreas comunes son muy cómodas y las habitaciones muy limpias. Además el personal siempre está muy dispuesto a colaborar ante cualquier situación o consejo para recorrer la ciudad. La ubicación está un poco apartada de la zona más agradable del borde costero, sin embargo se puede tomar un bus y llegar

Great hostel have no complaints, very nice breakfast, allowed me to stay and chill until my overnight bus and also brought me an extra blanket when I was ill. WiFi is fast, plenty of places to hang out and English speaking :)

Awesome hostel! Beautiful building decorated nicely with tons of places to chill and hang out. The 4 bed dorm I stayed in was awesome - comfy beds, tons of space. The 6 bed triple bunk room was not though, way too cramped. The staff are extremely sweet and helpful. Good location about 15 mins walk from the beach, close to the mercado central, cathedral and dragão do mar. Great facilities - good kitchen, good showers with lots of space. Highly recommend!

O melhor que já me hospedei até agora

German run place. After a week of horrible hostels with no English speakers, this was heaven. The only complaint I have is that the room was crazy hot, other than that all good!
