There was mold in the shower room floor 5
Après une première expérience réussi au generator de stockholm, j'ai ete déçu par celui-ci à Berlin. Mauvaises odeurs dans la salle de bain, lit superposé a 3 lits alors que l'image de la chambre montrait des lits superposé a 2 lits. Ce qui fait qu'il y a très bien de place dans le lit. Il est difficile de s'isoler de la lumière
No laundry, no kitchen, lock on shower didn’t work, WiFi rarely worked, shower was dirty, no air conditioning, pillow was bad, unable to get tap water outside of bar open hours so told to pay for some at a vending machine - bar shuts at two so have to pay for water after a night out. Decent location. Locker inside room too small to fit carry on size bag.
Everything was good and okay but there was this one staff member, idk his name but he was wearing glasses he was so rude to us and even told his coworker that we are annoying!!!! Only because we talked to him when his shift was over and we didn’t even knew that cuz he was still wearing his id card!! I felt so uncomfortable being at the hostel whenever he was in there
Really liked this hostel! Very spacious en-suite bathrooms, comfortable bed but no curtains. They have pool downstairs, a small cinema and a whole playroom. You can sit at the bar or get breakfast. The location is also good, close to the center. Staff was very friendly

- Showers are the only thing I had trouble with.
Overall, it was a pretty good experience: perfect location, kind staff, cool common spaces and clean rooms. We particularly appreciated the under-bed storage, which was spacious enough for two backpacks (and more), and the shower with hot water. We only wished the doors for the shower room and bathroom were a little thicker and, so, more soundproof. We strongly recommend this hostel and will consider Generator as our primary choice for our next travels!
