Eastener Hostel

I do not recommed!

No common room, no staff ( he is a nice guy but not always in the hostel),and no people. It was my worse experience in this hostel. It so quiet and you rarely see other people. Also, you need to take a bus or subway to go to the downtown to have night life experience. rooms are so small and you can find lots of dead mosquitoes on the wall!! I wasted my money and time in this hostel.

Owner was very nice and helpful for city/food suggestions. The bedding was clean and kitchen spotless. Although not the cleanest place I've stayed in as there were splatters on the wall in bathroom, old shower curtain etc. The wifi was spotty at best. The room I stayed in was noisy with the outside door to the apartment building close by. And the bed was hard and uncomfortable unfortunately.

Troppo costoso rispetto a quello che offre, almeno per quanto riguarda le camere private. Si salvava solo il bagno ma la camera era strettissima e sporca.

No common space and small kitchen without equipment.

The Eastener is great! It provides a frictionless experience to check in and out, a great sense of security with the keys and security cameras, and Matt gives a good amount of recommendations to get around Berlin. I would only suggest to include the towel fee in the price, take care of cleaning the shower curtains and making sure the reading lights in each bed work as expected.

The room was nice, with big lockers and even a sink. The staff person was friendly, but he had quite limited hours. The kitchen was a bit grimy in places, and I'd recommend wearing shower shoes in the bathrooms. It was okay, but I probably won't be returning.

Hostel normal en una buena zona. En mi opinión las instalaciones son un poco anticuadas. Tambien eché de menos una sala de estar o un lugar donde socializar.

No problem throughout my stay. Walking distance to the tourist spots. Staff was friendly and helpful. 💯

Couldn't ask for more for the price tbh, would come back without a doubt. A small 5-room hostel, it makes guest be mindful of their noise. Bring earplugs though, the sirens in Berlin run 24/7 and the trash collection is the noisiest I've ever heard. The double bed was comfortable, linens and towel provided were clean too. There are 3 bathrooms so we never had to queue to use them. Also, it's well located and has excellent connection to public transport.

Matt is an amazing host! It was clear that he has been a positive part of so many people’s experiences in Berlin.

great Hostel, I would definitely go back. one minor 'bad' point: the bathroom of the private 2-beds room is quite small so it was kind of a challenge to do anything in there without accidentally hitting your limbs on stuff, but it's doable

Un buen lugar para hospedarse en relación precio y calidad.

I would be so happy to stay at this hostel again, the owner was so nice and available for any questions. He helped us navigate the nearby area. It was quiet and very nicely located near many places to see (Brandenburg Gate, Museuminsel, etc).

Came to Berlin to enjoy the weekends and I am glad to have chosen the Eastener hostel. Thanks a lot to Tim.

Ostello piccolo, molto discreto e pulito. Ci sono stato con la famiglia. Di notte nessun tipo di rumore. Stanza spaziosa e letti comodi. Il proprietario è semplicemente fantastico. Ci ha accolto spiegandoci le regole semplici di accesso e utilizzo degli spazi comuni, ma ci ha dato anche preziose info su cosa visitare a Berlino. La posizione dell'ostello è super, vicinissima alla fermata della metropolitana che consente di arrivare in tutti gli angoli della città.

Sin dudas volvería a elegir este lugar si vuelvo a Berlín! El lugar impecable, limpieza, atención, baños. Todo un mil. Tim siempre fue muy atento; necesitábamos guardar las valijas y él nos dijo que podíamos dejarlas ahí mismo. La cocina tiene todo. En cuanto a la habitación, nosotros estuvimos en una habitación privada con baño compartido. La cama es muy cómoda al igual que las almohadas. Estamos muy felices. La ubicación es genial. Sin dudas lo recomiendo.

Un accueil chaleureux et attentif dans ce petit hôtel tout simple, une propreté irréprochable, des conseils de visite judicieux avec plan à l'appui. Et, ce qui nous a vraiment rendu service : la possibilité de laisser nos bagages dans un casier sécurisé au delà de l'horaire de départ. Merci Tim !

We had an amazing stay, the place was friendly, quiet and very cozy . The host was very quick and helpful with everything, and the location is very convenient for moving around. We booked a 2 bed private room facing the street, and we had no problems with noise or the temperature (we visited in March). There are 3 bathrooms, all very clean and renovated. We absolutely recommend it if you want a quiet, value for money stay.

Sauberes ruhiges Hostel. War übers Wochenende mit meinem 15 jährigen Sohn in Berlin. Hatten ein Zimmer mit Etagenbett und Bad. Netter Besitzer, problemloser, völlig stressfreier Checkin sowie Checkout. Gerne wieder 😊👍🏼

Top Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis! Super Lage, man hat alles was man braucht (im Zimmer ist man ja eh nur zum Schlafen) und Tim ist super nett. Wir gehen nur noch hier hin 👍🏻

Muy contentas con la atención de Tim, majisimo, atento y resolvió todas nuestras consultas. Al finalizar nuestra estancia nos dejo una consigna para guardar las maletas y aprovechar el ultimo dia sin cargar con ellas. La habitacion pequeña pero funcional para dormir q es lo que queriamos, toallas, cocina con todo lo necesario y nevera compartida. Cerca de todo, Tim te aconseja para comer, ver..lo que necesites. Recomiendo 100%

great location and the guy who runs it is a gem. you can keep your luggage in a locker for late check out and the location was also great— very transitable, tram and metro stop nearby, but it wasn’t noisy at all. It did get a little bit cold at night so just be aware of that

Great stay, friendly, uncomplicated, reliable communication, nice, clean and comfortable room, very convenient location! And even helped me get my jewlery back after I forgot it there:)
