Hanoi Central Backpackers Hostel

Not social and in a weird location. The staff and breakfast are nice but wouldn't recommend it

Good hostel super central location breakfast is great and has a nice rooftop bar. Sociable and good for linking up with other travellers but is also nice and quiet and can sleep easily. Beds are great and super comfy. Would deffo recommend !

All the staff were so nice. Shoutout to Ben at the rooftop terrace he’s got great energy. Bed and room were not too crowded lockers worked fine. Free beer evenings were a great way to make friends as well. Only minor complaints were there were some silverfish in the toilets but not too much to worry about. Also, the water was cut for around 2 hours while I was there. I understand these are unavoidable, but this was not communicated to us until I contacted the front desk which was inconvenient.

Das Privatzimmer war extremst schön, sauber und die Klimaanlage hat super funktioniert. Frühstück war gut, viel Auswahl und das Hostel war so semi social - man hat schon Leute kennen lernen können aber gibt eindeutig bessere Orte dafür :) das Personal bei der Rezeption war lieb und aufmerksam, bei der Bar jedoch ziemlich unmotiviert und langsam - wenn man 15 min bevor das Frühstück aus ist noch Café bestellt nachdem der leer ist, bekommt man keinen mehr - bei dem Preis schon schade!

Awesome hostel - great location, love the rooftop bar, fun activities. Overall a fun vibe. Met people in their late 20s/30s. 4 bed dorm was comfy - nice beds, love the storage locker. Highlight and best part was free the walking tour with LUNA - she is the best !!!!!!!

Best social hostel we stayed at in hanoi, easy to meet people but not got the grotty 18 year old vibe of a mad monkey

Great Hostel overall, I really appreciated the free breakfast and the free beer and pub crawl. They are very helpful with booking activities. The rooms are pretty nice however I didn’t feel like my sheets were that clean and had many stains on them and our shower was definitely moldy. Otherwise good place

The hostel is all right, but not worth the money. It’s not very clean (hairs in bed, big stains on the sheets) and not practical. The rooms are very tiny without windows and there’s only 1 bathroom in the rooms so no privacy as you can hear EVERYTHING, you never have time and the water runs into the room. The weird towels don’t dry you, the beds are very short and the door and lockers make a very long and loud sound everytime. Charger socket in bed doesn’t work (“they know”)… good ...

amazing would recommend especially for solo travelers as rooftop so small it’s easy too speak to people
