Viajero Bacalar Hostel

The place was super nice in general, great location and felt very safe. Staff were good and helpful. However, the beds felt super small and there was not much between the bottom and top bunk so you can hear every movement made by the person above you, therefore didn’t get the best sleep whilst there

Everything slightly more expensive than expected in hostel and you can get nicer private rooms in hotels for same price but if you are looking for social element as part of experience then it’s a nice balance between fun but also being able to sleep.

Nice hostel with a lovely view from the pool. The pool wasn’t very full though and was a bit dirty. But beds were comfy and rooms were clean. Maybe turn the AC an hour earlier

Over het algemeen een goed hostel. Propere kamer en badkamer. Een ‘negatief’ punt is dat er tot ‘s avonds laat nog heel luide muziek was bij de bar/zwembad.

Hatte ein Einzelzimmer mit sehr viel Platz. War super sauber und sehr bequem. Socialising funktioniert noch nicht so ganz. Pool war bisschen runtergekommen. Könnte man mehr pflegen

Nice hostel , mostly party and good for social people or make friend just noisy for sleeping with other backpacker in morning or backpacker want party and it close to the room! But overall and for the price is very a good place for enjoy it ! And the personnel was very sweet and nice

Nice hostel. Kitchen could be little bigger, otherwise very clean and new. The common area is pretty big, which makes it little harder to socialize when everybody is far away from each others

Hostel seemed quite empty and didn’t have an amazing social atmosphere but facilities are good and it’s clean

Really enjoyed my stay in a private room. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the pool/bar area is a great space to relax. I also loved that they organise activities — it makes it easy to meet people. Only small issue was the sink in the room being a bit moldy and the AC only had one setting on or off but overall I had a good stay

Mi experiencia fue 10/10 Desde mi llegada con un stage muy amable dispuestos ayudar en lo que necesitamos. Mi habitación súper cómoda, la cama y almohadas fueron lo mejor para un buen descanso, el balcón con vista a la laguna donde fue una joya ver el Amanecer cada mañana. Tienen estacionamiento amplio y el bar y la picina súper cool. Sin duda mi Hostel favorito hasta ahora

Really lovely front of house staff. The view is gorgeous and the balcony is fab! I would just note that there are no locks on the doors. Overall a very very comfortable hostel with a very chilled vibe.

This place was a 10/10. Everything was very clean. Maru welcomed us and was very kind. The private room for couples is excellent—comfortable bed, perfect pillows, and great shower. The place is nicely decorated, with cozy, clean common areas and a fully equipped kitchen. The atmosphere is great, with many activities and a good location. This is my second time at El Viajero (Buenos Aires and Bacalar), and they never disappoint. I highly recommend it.

Le viajero de Bacalar est juste parfait. J'ai prolongé mon séjour à l'hôtel suite à mes 3 premières nuits, pour une semaine. Le personnel est super sympa. L'établissement est très chill, les dortoirs sont calmes, la piscine est très agréable, tout est propre. L'hôtel est très bien placé. Il y a aussi des événements ou soirées ! merci particulièrement Armando pour sa grande aide

Superbe hostel à Bacalar. L’emplacement est idéal, près de la lagune et à 5 minutes du centre. Les dortoirs sont super surtout avec la petite terrasse perso en plus. La cuisine est bien équipé et des activités sont proposées régulièrement. Ajouté à ça un staff super sympa et tout y est pour passer un très bon séjour !

I accidentally did something wrong with the booking but Dani (if I write it correctly, otherwise i’m sorry😅) helped us, while it was 5 in the morning haha, so good! So thank you again!! The hostel itself was amazing and clean and had a nice vibe. The staff was overall really nice (nicest staff I had in hostels before), so that was amazing!

Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Das Private Zimmer war sehr groß, das Personal super freundlich und hilfsbereit und die komplette Anlage sehr neu und gepflegt. Abends ist es meistens nur etwas lauter bis ca. 2 Uhr. Das sollte man berücksichtigen, falls man seine Ruhe will. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Very good hostel, would definitely come back. Good facilities and met very nice people here as it’s a very social hostel. kitchen is well stocked but rather small. The poole is lovely and the activities are very fun

Nous avons passé quelques jours géniaux à l’hostel Viajero (comme toujours très confort). Les activités sont top et l’environnement aussi, on recommande +++ D’ailleurs Maru a été géniale avec nous, elle nous a recommandé pleins d’activités dans nos moyens et comment s’y rendre (car nous sommes backpackers). Nous avons profité d’une séance yoga gratuite à l’hostel 🤗

super Hostel, man fühlt sich wie im Hotel obwohl man im Dorm schläft:) Die Betten sind mega bequem mit Badezimmer, das sauber ist:) große Schließfächer:) die Zimmer haben ihre eigene kleine Terrasse und die Atmosphäre im Hostel ist echt mega! Man bekommt ein Welcome-Drink bei dem man sich kurz vorstellt und somit gleich ins Gespräch mit anderen kommt aber super ungezwungen☺️ Der Vibe ist gut, alle sind nett und um 23:00 ist die Musik aus:)

Good vibe, good view, good location, good staff, good pool, good room, good bathroom, it's just that the wallet of my friend is stolen...

Sehr schönes Hostel mit Blick auf die Lagune. Küche könnte ein bisschen besser ausgestattet sein und der social-vibe war nicht ganz so ausgeprägt, als ich da war.
