The Hosteller Mcleodganj, Bhagsu Waterfall

A hostel that has hotel-like mind. They have a terrible app that makes you do all the work when you check in, giving every guest at least 20min of work when you check in. Everything costs extra and prices are the same as practiced in Europe . Having said that, its very well located, has an elevator, very good aircon, ok showers, nice blankets and private curtains. The staff is amazing and will try to help you as much as they can.

Okay but very mouldy and old bathroom and I saw staff just folding duvet for next guest instead of changing sheets.

I'd choose zostel over this just for the overall vibe and better crowd and hospitality

Location is right in the middle of lower Bhagsu-check details when booking as I thought it was in McLeod Ganj & someone else had made same mistake. happt to have been at this location though. Staff exceptionally kind & helpful, especially Gaurav & Hiya. Garden area is lovely with firepit. "Silence after 10pm" isn't enforced so several nights noise from outdoor area affected sleep. Mix of different guests so socialising a little more difficult.Overall a great place to stay -definitely recommend.

The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. They kindly allowed us to check in very early at 5 AM due to availability, which we truly appreciated. The food was delicious as well—fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Great hostel, clean, good vibe. Nice balcony. Good stay. Slightly out of main town (Dalai Lama temple etc) but close to another small town / group of shops and restaurants. Great access to treks.

Hostel staff were incredibly accomodating and made me feel safe as a solo female traveller. Facilities were good and room was clean and true to pictures.

Pros: Great place to stay in bhagsu, great location.. easy to extend stay and great food in the cafe. Staff are helpful and have some hostel activities, dorms are regularly cleaned; Cons: Hostel staff didn’t change bed sheets between guests at one point because there were “too many people” Male staff sometimes didn’t knock before entering female dorm

Amazing experience. The room was very nice and spacious, with a lot of nice details. The staff was great and helpful - the cook in the cafe is also brilliant! The location is also great, there are nice cafes/restaurants close by and Dharamkot can be reached within 25 minutes of walking. I would really recommend the Hosteller Bghasu!

Overall it was a really nice stay, good value for money, and most areas are pleasant. Although they often play loud annoying music in the cafe, and there is the occasional power cut but other than that really good facilities and I would definitely go back!

I couldn’t have been happier for choosing The hosteller, Bhagsu for my trip to Mcleodganj. The rooms, bathroom, cleanliness and the staff’s behaviour is commendable. The cherry on the top has to be the perfect location of this property and proximity will all the sides! Enjoy my stayed thoroughly ❤️

Amazing people, great staff and they have a guitar as well! So pretty good and direly recommended.
