Spuds&Bunks Hostel

This was by far my favourite hostel in Vietnam! It is a relatively new place in Hanoi and yet everything about it has been perfected. Super clean and smart, with a really chilled out social vibe, and San at the reception is the bubbliest, loveliest hostel worker you’ll meet! I guarantee you’ll have a great time at Spuds&Bunks

Chill hostel in a calm area of the city. Very friendly staff and clean dorms. Had a good time, so extended my stay for a few days here!

Forreal the best hostel ive stayed in so far, everything necessary is nearby, the old quarter is a 30'000vnd away sometimes less sometimes more (with grab scooter) wich is really worth it considering that i stayed in oq bevore and i didn't sleep and rest well there. I felt really really comfortable slept well had my space especially when I'm staying in a bigger city i value that a lot, thank you :)

I kept coming back to this hostel located at the west lake in a really nice neighbourhood. It is a calm place that has everything you need, the staff is nice, there’s plenty of places to eat in close proximity. It is easy to get to the old town with a grab. My dorm was spacious, it had huge comfy beds, a beautiful bathroom and even a balcony. I can absolutely recommend this place!!

Great Hostel! Nice place in a pretty area by the lake, perfect to cool down after the Old Quarter Craziness. Super friendly staff and huuuge comfortable beds. Good amenities. Only wish they would provide water. Restaurant on site has nice, budget friendly choices. The overall vibe is quiet and chill, but social if you're down for it.

Great staff, great setup, great value. Nice to escape the old quarter and be somewhere more spacious and quiet. The surrounding area has more locals and is cool to explore! But you can also get a bus or grab into the old quarter. Social but chilled. Only downside is there’s nowhere to fill your water bottle.

It was perfect! a little away from the center but the rest was great: cleaning every day, quiet and secure hostel, welcoming staff and always present

The hostel is compl new, in an incredible location, it’s a bit out of the Old Quarter in West Lake. Perfect for relaxing and hanging out. Everything is nice and clean and the staff and the owner are the nicest people! I would highly recommend this hostel!

Such a comfortable peaceful stay here. All the staff were so genuinely friendly and helpful here. Hostel is tucked away in a quiet street. A lot of greenery around including on the lovely balcony attached to the dorm. The dorms here are incrediblely comfortable and spacious especially for the price. Big beds and comfy blankets. beautiful wooden floors. Will definetly be back. Thank you so much!

This was my favorite hostel in Vietnam! It’s very new, so the facilities are pristine and it’s in a great neighborhood. Loved my time here and couldn’t recommend it enough. Plus the hostel staff taught me some great new Vietnamese card games!

Great hostel, Greatest Staff, Great Facilities, & Great Food. If you want a break from the old quarters this is the place to be.

Nouvelle auberge toute fraîche, c'est propre, personnel gentil. Le propriétaire a aussi des kiosques de pomme de terre à travers Hanoi, dont un dans le jardin de l'auberge. Ça vaut le coup d'essayer ces potatoes, c'est bon!

Amazing staff!💚 and the location is so nice and quiet. The 6 person dorm rooms are also really nice with big beds and a balcony decorated with plants 🌱

This is a very great hostel, one of the best I’ve stayed in, if not the best. The staff are super friendly, the accommodation is super clean and super cozy, and they serve jacket potatoes outside just to make it even better. I’d definitely recommend staying here

This is easily one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at during my month in Vietnam! It’s brand new, sparkling clean, and tucked away in the trees right by the lake—perfect for chilling out. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, the WiFi is reliable, and they provide massive lockers for security. I especially loved the balcony and garden for meeting people. Highly recommended!

Spuds and Bunks Hostel is a great place for anyone who wants to stay in the Westlake are. Everything was super clean and comfy and the stuff was always open for a chat. All in all I had a great stay and can highly recommend this place for anyone else.
