Hostal Casa Amarilla City

+ Viaje a Baños a participar en la carrera de trail Petzl Trail Plis.. hice mi reserva con tiempo suficiente porque conocía que iba a haber muchísima gente en Baños. Inicialmente separé una habitación doble para una persona, en la página de Booking dice “pagarás en el establecimiento” sin embargo se me ocurrió llamar al hostal y el dueño señor Darwin me Dice que hay mucha gente y que le envíe el 50% para confirmar la reserva, cosa que así se hizo. Par días después le pido que me cambie de habitación por una familiar que voy a viajar con mis papás e hijo. El señor acepta el cambio, pague la diferencia y listo. Llegó el sábado 13 a Baños directamente al hotel para dejar mis cosas almorzar y alistarme para la competencia y resulta que no anotaron mi cambio y vendieron mi habitación a otras personas. Me dejaron en la vereda con una ciudad repleta de turistas por la carrera, y yo sin tener a donde ir con mi papá de 85 años y mis dos hijos de 16 y 10 años, a puertas de una competencia, sin tener donde cambiarme ni alistarme. El señor Darwin solo me dijo chuta mi esposa ha vendido la habitación a unos suizos disculpe y ya listo. Pésimo pésimo , no encontré nada adecuado , había demasiado tráfico en la ciudad, tuve que acomodar a mi familia en un cuarto carísimo con dos camas y un baño sin puerta , que menos mal encontramos eso, sin la menor consideración del propietario del hostal que solo me dijo lo siento mucho cuando él debía solucionarme El problema y no dejarme en la vereda sin tener a donde ir. Simplemente ser respetuosos con los demás , considerados. Quizás para el señor es una habitación que se le fue , pero yo tenía una competencia súper dura después de la que se necesita tomar un baño descansar bien, desayunar en paz, y finalmente no dormí nada compartimos la cama con mis dos niños y tuve un súper mal rato y ninguna solución.

- El personal no se encontraba No hubo servicio a la habitación Desayuno regular No hubo cambio de toallas, y el baño emanaba un olor desagradable.

+ Breakfast was very good compared to other places. Location was close to hus terminal and city center.

- Big emphasis on selling tours. Stayed downstairs room, very busy outside bedroom til late at night, maybe family living or visiting, lots of talking in kitchen wirh open door, endless dishes noise from kitchen with open doors, first night inside dog barking a lot again just outside bedroom. So very difficult to get a rest or sleep til late. Started to get quite irritated of level of unconsideration for paying guests. Recommend having more consideration for guests, stop talking outside bedrooms at night and close other bedroom and kitchen doors to reduce noise level at night and early morning.

+ Friendly and helpful staff, good location.

- Room 3 is a small, stuffy and damp room with no window or ventilation. It has a non-opening window to the corridor at the entrance to the hotel, so noise is guaranteed at night. Breakfast served for two would only be enough for one person.

+ Near the Center

- Big disappointment: The attitude of the owner it’s to earn as much money and not the good feeling of me as his guest. The light in the room is in your eyes. it’s definitely not worth 40$ per night. Maximum 20$

+ La ubicación

- 1. La atención del dueño fue pésima. Llegué al hostal nadie sabía sobre mi reserva a pesar que estuve chateando con Darwin (el dueño), avisándole mi hora de llegada. Cuando le chateo porque nadie sabía sobre mi reserva me reclama que está perdiendo dinero por mi culpa por solo reservar una noche. Finalmente me atienden y estaban tan interesados en solo cobrar que nunca me dieron indicaciones sobre el desayuno y el wifi. Allí no se puede dormir. 2. La luz del pasillo estuvo encendida toda la noche y tiene. Un traga luz justo sobre la puerta de entrada a la habitación que daba directo a la cama. La habitación estuvo todo la noche con luz. 3. Decía no ruidos después de las 10 pm pero habían niños con bulla hasta casi la media noche 12am y luego a las 2 de la mañana llegó un grupo de que estaba de fiesta. Además, no sé si estás tuberías expuestas en el baño sean seguras y legales

+ El desayuno es rico y la ubicacion del hostel estava muy buena.

- El hostel estava lleno de cucarachas en las habitaciones y en la cocina. Es necesario hacer un control urgente de pragas en todo el lugar.

+ It was a perfect location and the terrace was so peaceful

+ Sehr gut, besonders die Hilfsbereitschaft, Flexibilität und Fteundlichkeit der Familie war hervorragend.

- WLAN in meinem Zimmer in der obersten Etage war instabil. Musste mich immer wieder neu einloggen.

+ L accueil et la disponibilité du personnel était au delà de mes attentes. A conseillé sans modération

+ localização ótima, perto da estação de ônibus,café da manhã feito na hora, recebemos um upgrade de quarto, podemos acertar tours na recepção. lugar simples e econômico

+ The staff were very friendly. Good atmosphere, nice tarrace and there was a guitar.

- The room was quite small and the hot water didn't work that well. I had a room in the hallway so no view but it stayed nice and coo all dayl. So depends on what you prefer.

+ - cozy room with comfortable bed - hot water in the shower - handsoap, towels provided - laundry service (for 6$ per load). Very quick. I got it after 3-4h - amazing breakfast (scrambled eggs, fruit with a little bit of yogurt and granola, bread, good quality jam and butter, coffee) - rooftop place with chairs, table and hammocks. While having breakfast there, I could spot few hummingbirds flying around and feeding on flowers (end of January) - very good WiFi - great location (close to restaurants, shops and bus station) - I could store my luggage there after checkout without extra charge - kitchen available - lovely dog - they rent bikes and help to book tours - very friendly and helpful owner

- Everything perfect

+ Very good location near to bus terminal, fruit market and actually to everything, as the city is not big. You can book daytrips or rent a bike in the hostel (7 USD/day). Saul and his brother were so friendly and treated me almost like a family member. The house have a beautiful terrace with tables and hammocks, full of flowers and plants. You can use kitchen if you need it. Breakfast was made and served with love, including homemade jam and the best omelette I got served during my trip in Ecuador. My room was quiet and comfortable. All the house very clean. There is a lovely dog Max.

+ Very nice place, close to everything, big and nice terrace on the third floor. The owner can offer guide service if you want to go to Tungurahua. Very cozy rooms. Hot shower.

+ Excelente lugar muy bonito y muy aseado, tiene jna terraza muy bonita para descansar, Saul  es excelente persona, me recomendo buenos toures a buen precio, me guardo la maleta sin problema para poder ir a hacer otras cosas, el desayuno es completo y muy bueno. Recomendado 100%

- No era tan accesible, el parqueadero estaba lejos y me lo cobraron aparte, cuando en booking me salía gratis, fue casi $50 dólares por una habitación pequeña, baño en malas condiciones, TV pequeña y un colchón que sonaba apenas te sentabas

+ Bed was goed en badkamer was oke. Ontbijt mag voor de prijs wel iets uitgebreider.

- Relatief veel betaald voor wat je krijgt.

+ Excelente ubicación atención y hospitalidad. Además que la terraza ofrece un espacio precioso

+ Owners were very nice and the rooftop patio is great.

- Our room was on the ground floor and separated from the hall by a thin window. We could hear absolutely everything outside from rowdy kids to horking. Pretty had sleep as a result.
