- Punais de lit trouvée sur mon lit en chambre partagée. Ceci dit, j'étais déçu du logement en arrivant et je ne comprends pas comment il est aussi bien noté (je viens de faire 4 mois en backpack en Asie du sud-est)
Had bedbugs, don't reccomend.
Bedbugs in the female dorm!!! I found bedbugs in my bed, they moved me to another room at 4AM. No money back or anything. However they knew as they were already steaming the wooden bedframes when I arrived. And I am now reading it from another review as well. This is such a hassle as a traveller :(. Besides that, the staff is super nice, there was a social vibe, acces to a kitchen and location is safe as well.
Die Besitzer waren bei Anreise sehr freundlich. Das Hostel ist leider nicht wirklich sauber. Nach der ersten Nacht haben wir in beiden unserer Betten Bettwanzen gefunden (female dorm). Danach haben wir das Hostel gewechselt. Bei Abreise haben wir dem Mann vor Ort Bescheid gesagt. Er hat sich entschuldigt und meinte er spricht mit seinem Chef und meldet sich wegen einer Erstattung - leider haben wir nie wieder etwas gehört. Keine Empfehlung!
The owners were very friendly on arrival. The hostel is unfortunately not really clean. After the first night we found Bettwanzen (female dorm) in both of our beds. After that we changed hostels. On departure we told the man on the spot. He apologized and said he was talking to his boss and calling for a refund - unfortunately we never heard from him again. No recommendation!
Geen fijn hostel en ik snap niet waarom dit zo’n hoge rating heeft. er is geen airco in de mannenkamers. De bunk beds zijn oncomfortabel en het is er luidruchtig. De eigenaren zijn heel aardig en het ontbijt is wel lekker en betaalbaar.
Not a nice hostel and i don't understand why it has such a high rating. there is no air conditioning in the men's rooms. the bunk beds are uncomfortable and it is noisy. the owners are very nice and the breakfast is delicious and affordable.
Friendliness here is about money.

Um eine Nacht rumzubringen war's ausreichend. Es gibt keine Schließfächer, wie eigentlich angegeben.

Le personnel est adorable, très bon accueil. c’est un quartier résidentiel et sécurisé - il n’y a donc pas beaucoup de restaurant dans le coin. Nous sommes collé à une grosse route donc il faut avoir des bouchons d’oreilles car on entend tout dans la chambre individuelle. Merci !

L’endroit parfait si vous recherchez un hébergement calme et apaissant proche de l’aéroport! Le staff est très gentil et le petit déjeuner traditionnel est une merveille, une très belle introduction à leur culture! L’hostel est reculé du town, mais es situé proche d’un parc très agréable!
The perfect place if you are looking for a quiet and soothing accommodation near the airport! the staff is very kind and the traditional breakfast is a marvel, a very nice introduction to their culture! the hostel is remote from the town, but is located near a very nice park!

+ Such an amazing hostel! They make you feel completely like family and can’t do enough to help you. Rooms were spacious, had lockers and curtains!! I was lucky enough to stay over Sinhala new year and they included us in their celebrations!
+ SL breakfast was yum! Good facilities and really clean Lovely staff. Put in extra effort to welcome us for new year
+ Everything was perfect in this hostel. Very clean(the cleanest I've seen in the country so far!), good AC, nice breakfast, friendly owner.. I could rest well here

+ Amazing staff, especially the man that runs the property he’s so lovely and cares deeply for the guests. The night I arrived he arranged for a dinner to be cooked for us all and I thought that was such an amazing touch, it honestly was the nicest thing any hostel has ever done. It brought the group together and also is what hostels are supposed to be about but haven’t been like for a long time! The beds were really comfy too and there’s hot water and the place is really clean! I’d absolutely go back and look forward to staying again!
- Nothing that I didn’t like, I stayed in the AC room, I do think they need to service the AC as it was still a bit warm with it on. Also the fan room was very hot so if you’re unsure whether to pay the bit extra I would say definitely you should!
+ Die Lage ist toll und die Klimaanlage ist ein großer Pluspunkt. Das Personal ist nett und allgemein ist alles sauber.
- Ziemlich runtergekommen und lieblos. Die Duschen und die Klos ist ziemlich kaputt. Die Gemeinschaftsräume sind überhaupt nicht gemütlich und sehr beengt. Finde den Preis zu hoch für das was es ist.

- Due to hot and humid weather even shower water was hot. Which I know is not owners falult. Shower need a bit repairing.

+ Ben hier 2 nachten blijven slapen, het personeel is super lief. Er is gekookt water voor koffie of thee maar kan je ook voor noodles gebruiken zoals ik deed want de restaurants in de buurt zijn prijzig voor Sri Lanka. Je kan ontbijt bestellen (westers of sri lankaans). Ik sliep in een kamer zonder airco, er was wel een ventilator.
