Unfortunately, no one was there except for aggressive dogs. After calling, I was told someone would be there right away, but after another 2 hours, no one came. Unfortunately, very poor service.

Déception totale : malgré une réservation pour des lits dans une tente, l'hôte a exigé une tente personnelle sans la mentionner dans l'annonce, nous obligeant à payer un supplément de 30 000 COP. De plus, les vélos "gratuits" étaient en mauvais état, et l'hôte a tenté de nous facturer 80 000 COP pour leur "location" le lendemain. La gestion des services et la transparence sont inacceptables. Je déconseille fortement cet établissement.

Une famille adorable et très chouette. Venus nous chercher dans la nuit dans le sentier qui mène à l’hostel. Il était 23h et ils nous ont quand même cuisiné un repas !! Petit dej très bon et visite directement depuis l’hostel, c’était magique. Super bien situé à l’entrée du désert !! Attention, sur Hostelworld, on a l’impression de réserver une tente mais c’est un emplacement, il faudra compter 10 000 pesos de plus pour chaque tente et lit intégré.

Es un lugar mágico! El hospedaje es cómodo y tiene todo lo necesario para estar tranquilo, todos fueron muy amables, es un negocio familiar así que te acogen y te ayudarán en todo lo que necesites. Tuvimos buenas platicas y la comida es muy rica, casera y recién hecha. Sin duda volveré a este lugar ✨

Excellent camping à Tatacoa, vous pourrez profiter d'excursions aux deux déserts.

Such an amazing place to stay. The food is so delicious and it is right in the red desert. They offer a tour for a very good price, including grey desert, observatory, horse riding through the red desert, transport and food which made our stay super easy. The tents are comfortable with a mattress and pillow. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend this place, location is awesome and the family in charge are very sweet and caring, also a restaurant itself that offer home cooked meals and juices that are delicious and offered an outstanding 2 day tour with transportation to first desert, pool, observatory and food, horseback riding for the other desert on the next day. Cute rescued dogs around to play with too

Un lieu hors du commun et incroyable ! Dormez en plein désert chez ce couple colombiens adorables. Stefany, la femme et la cheffe de cuisine, fait incroyablement bien à manger, digne des meilleurs restaurants et s’adapte aux végétarien.nes. Farid, le mari, s’est occupé de nous en faisant le guide dans le désert, il nous a raconté pleins d’histoires sur la vallée de Tatacoa, nous avons passé une journée superbe à ses côtés. Allez-y, vous vivrez une expérience géniale ! Merci ...

Had the loveliest stay here, it’s location is amazing and the people that own the site are lovely and their kids are very friendly. In the evening we all played cards together after dinner. Everyone at the site was taken out on a hike for COP$15,000. The site is very basic, you either pay for a tent or to pitch a tent or hammock (no 40 bed dorm) and there are toilets, showers and semi-kitchen with a wood fire stove. Would definitely stay here again. Very good dinner for $25,000, vegan friendly...

Cabaña simple pero suficiente, familia muy amable y listo para ayudarte con cualquier cosa

had a wonderful relaxing time, run by a very kind and welcoming small family. despite a language barrier they made me feel at home, also some of the best food I've had in columbia! will be back when I know more Spanish so I can talk to them properly.

Amazing campsite with the most friendly hosts ever! They will help you with everything and show you around in the desert. I had an amazing stay and can only recommend.

I really liked it there. You can just rent a tent and then sleep under a roofed area. They have great water (from a tap, but safe to drink), they will cook for you and they have good recommendations and offer tours as well. It's a family who manages the whole thing. really nice. 🫶

Es sitio es maravilloso y se nota que hay mucho amor puesto en él. Me sentí muy acogido y me ayudaron en todo lo que necesité. Localización ideal: aislado de la zona turística y muy tranquilo. Dormí en una tienda y el colchón era comodísimo. Hacía un poco de calor, pero es lo que tiene el desierto. Siempre puedes alojarte en una de sus cabañas. Ah, y la comida es deliciosa y muy económica. Hasta cocinan vegetariano, cosa poco vista por la zona! Un auténtico oasis! GRACI...

Loved my stay here! Stayed for 1 night and went to the red desert in the morning. Later Farid gave me an amazing tour through the other parts of the desert. Food was also really nice, as well as accomodation:) Gracias !

Excellent camping to visit the desert! very well located and the staff is super helpful, kind and funny. the vibe of the place is great. good breakfast and lunch too. the only negative point is that the wifi doesn't work well and you cannot use the electricity to charge your phone at night

It was such a great ecperience and the family who is running this place is so lovely! They were so helpful an friendly and the place is quiet and beautiful. Also the tent they provided for me was so comfortable! All in all it was a wonderful experience and i can only recommend staying with these lovely people! Fue una gran experiencia maravillosa y recomiendo encarecidamente alojarse en este lugar con esas personas amables.

We stayed here in order to do some star gazing in Tatacoa, and wanted to walk to the observatories. Initially Nicole was very kind in allowing us to change our booking last minute as well as sort us a tuk tuk from the ferry terminal to the campsite. upon arrival she and Fair provided tents for a reasonable price and refreshments that were delicious. This hospitality continued throughout the stay and I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Muchas gracias, Nicole y Fari y Carlos
