- Étant dans un dortoir, certaines personnes se lèvent à 5h du matin et font donc du bruit et vous réveil (ce n’est pas la faute de l’établissement, simplement la vie en dortoir). En revanche les femmes de ménages qui débarquent dans la chambre à 8h30 (jusqu’à 9h30) pour changer les draps des lits innocuppés, allument les lumières et discutent au milieu de la chambre alors qu’elles savent que vous êtes dans la même pièce en train d’essayer de dormir.. je ne comprends pas. D’autant plus qu’il est indiqué dans les couloirs que les chambres sont censées être nettoyées entre 12h et 15h… je ne trouve pas ça respectueux des clients. Je n’ai jamais vu un hostel où l’on vient faire le ménage de la chambre à 8h30. C’est arrivé les 2 matins où je suis restée.

+ The bed was okay

- The buildings where very old and dirty, it was not clean at all and you could barely see The bottom of The pool for dirtyness. I dont Think this is reasonoble when they use The pool at their marketing.

+ The inclusion of a Netflix subscription on the TV was a nice touch. The hotel was very well located, close to some lovely little shops and cafes and the vibrant Jalan Gaya market. The room was comfortable and the bathroom stylish and clean.

- The hotel in general seemed quite empty of guests, but even so we noticed quite a bit of noise from cleaning and maintenance staff. The noise was all during the day so no big deal, but it did make us feel as though the room was not very private noise-wise.

+ - clean, pretty rooms - comfortable beds - very friendly staff! - when we asked to change the room after one night (as the room next to the street was super noisy, even without the nightmarket), the staff even gave us two options to chose from and they were super nice about it. They also told us before at check-in that the nightmarket is very loud. I would definitely not book a room with walls to the street, as these walls (at least in our first room) were super thin (you can literally bend them when pushing against them, its kinda like a cardboard box). The other room that we changed to didnt have windows (we were warned about that before and they showed us both alternative rooms and also we didnt mind at all), but it was super quiet compared to the first one. - the location was great, especially with the night market directly in front of our door (food was delicious)

- - it is quite noisy, even without the nightmarket, when booking a room next to the street, so be aware of that. The other rooms are fine (unless you happen to have noisy neighbours, as the walls are still a bit thin). - the showers could need some anti-mold spray, as there are tiny little dots between the tiles. The shower curtain in the first room should probably also be exchanged. Apart from that, it was very clean (with mild smell from the drains but depending on the day, i think thats pretty normal for the city, as the same issue occurred in the streets). Other than that, it was pretty nice. Would definitely book again.

+ L'ostello è in pieno centro e ha davvero tutti i confort di cui si può avere bisogno, i letti sono comodi e puliti, le docce funzionali e l'area bagno è davvero ben progettata. Personale davvero gentile e disponibile.

- Il problema principale è la mancanza di un ascensore dal piano zero. Esiste solo un montacarichi dal primo piano in su.

+ Alles top, sehr bequemes Bett. Großes Zimmer mit Bad. Und eine sehr gute Lage!

+ Heel vriendelijk personeel, onze bagage was verloren gegaan in de luchthaven en als deze was terug gebracht hebben ze ons direct iets laten weten. Verder comfortabele bedden, propere kamers en een goede centrale ligging in de stad.

- Zoals bij vele verblijven zijn de muren/ramen niet zo geluidsdicht waardoor je veel omgevingsgeluid had.

+ Very well located, have access to kitchen and hot water. Appreciate the fact that they provided 2 pillows based on my request. Staff are friendly and helpful.

- Bed mattress is a little hard for me. Water pressure is low and shower is taking a longer time because of the lower water flow.

+ L’établissement est récent et très propre. Les lits en dortoir sont confortables, avec une literie de qualité. L’espace commun — cuisine, salle à manger, coin canapé et télévision — est un vrai plus : on s’y sent comme à la maison. Le Wi-Fi fonctionne très bien et le personnel est particulièrement accueillant.

- Je me suis retrouvé dans un dortoir avec 8 hommes pour une seule femme. Je ne sais pas si c’était le hasard, mais la répartition pourrait être mieux équilibrée. Il ne s’agissait pas de jeunes voyageurs, mais plutôt d’hommes d’environ 40–50 ans, ce qui a renforcé mon sentiment d’inconfort. Je ne me suis donc pas vraiment senti à l’aise dans cette configuration, et les nuits n’ont pas été très reposantes à cause des ronflements… Par ailleurs, la pression de l’eau dans la douche est assez faible, et l’eau chaude n’est pas toujours au rendez-vous. 🚿

+ The most comfortable beds - I had the best sleep. Such a cool spot.

+ Even though we only stayed for one night, we had a very pleasant stay. The property was very clean and the rooms were very nice and comfortable. The location is excellent, right in the center and surrounded by many of the main restaurants, shops and everything else you might need. Check-in and check-out were both very easy and relaxed. We also arrived a bit earlier and were able to leave our luggage there.
