The Wayfaring Buckeye Hostel

Room was noisy, bathroom next door shared a heat vent, so I got to listen to drunk people noisily taking a dump multiple times during the night . Hostel has nice facilities, including a nice downstairs games room but most of the clientele were older men who looked like they were in town looking for work, and weren't keen to socialise. Would recommend if you have a group, and want a nice clean hostel, but not great if you're by yourself.

Most importantly. I did not feel safe as a single female. Not in the neighborhood, not in the hostile itself. I never saw staff. Furniture & house were soiled & stained. People were sleeping in common areas. Beds were uncomfortable. No wash cloths. I didn't go back after the first sleepless night. It was horrible.

Very good facility and cozy room. Wish it would be more accessible by walking distance from downtown tho.

Breakfast is available and place is clean. Temperature in rooms should be adjusted to weather outside. It was freezing in the room.

Self check in was easy, hostel was very clean and quiet. Did not meet hosts as it was self check in. Hostel is in a quiet residential area, plenty of street parking around and felt very safe. Easy walking distance from the historic crew stadium which I was attending an event at. I would definitely stay here again next time I’m in town.

I get off work late - well past the check-in time, but it was no problem. Enjoyed my stay, accommodations are really good, felt comfortable, good nights sleep, and a refreshing shower in the morning.

I've been to hostels in Japan, Thailand, Puerto Rico and Hawaii it's good here. Can eat breakfast items up until 11am, Jacuzzi, I like security doors you to house plus individual rooms you type code, comfortable soft beds two pillows, sheets and blanket, well stocked plenty of toilet paper, soap and cleaning supplies. I enjoy having separate TV rooms and a locker for my backpack. This is a very well run place. Mostly guys of all ages when I stayed but everyone was respectful beats hotel prices!

Lovely hostel with great facilities - borrow a bike and hot tub at no extra cost. Self check in was fine you’re emailed the door codes at check in time. Never met the owner in person but talked over text he was lovely and really helpful

Wonderful. Except someone was blasting music in the shower at 448AM. And the staff did not stop it. I had to stop it. I even emailed the staff the next day and no one responded to me. Not professional.

Had an awesome experience here for one night. Check in was straight forward and everything was clean. It's in a great area too.

I just want to say what a great host robbie was, this is definitely a place i would love to come back to I actually booked again. Everything was great even more than I expected and I had a good time staying even meeting new people from different places is what also surprised me. This is a great hostel to stay at and if you are in the area looking for the go to place I would suggest staying here.

One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at. The volunteers were super lovely and welcoming, with great suggestions of what to do and see. I stayed in a mixed 5 bed dorm, which was split into two rooms. Plenty of space for all your belongings with charging ports and lamps at each bed. The place was clean, a good spread of free breakfast available every morning, and the check in instructions were clear and easy to follow. Would highly recommend!

Probably the only hostel in Columbus, and a really nice one! The neighbourhood is very calm, though a little bit long to access from the bus station. The staff is lovely and the place is very clean, with confortable beds. Not really social but I came when there was really few people

I loved my stay here. It definitely felt like my home away from home. The space was great with convenient facilities including x2 kitchens with free breakfast, a games room, laundry room and TV with streaming services in the main living area. My room was in the attic and I definitely hit my head on the ceiling more than once (whoops!) but it wasn’t a huge inconvenience- if anything, it was nice to have a space to recoup but the wifi was a little spotty up there! Great location in a safe area :...

Great value. The dorm was very clean. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean enough. Robbie was very sweet and welcoming. If I were to return to Columbus again, I would definitely stay here.

Outstanding Stay, everything you need, it’s available! I have stayed in over 45 Hostels, by far one of the best! Thank you, I will see you again!
