Lagares Hostel

Cool place but very noisy. The staff is friendly and I was allowed already at 10 am to enter my room , but it is super noisy the whole day and night as well possible to smell people smoking from outside the window. Cleanliness was ok but there was a lot of people using our bathroom as well.

The hostel was very clean and had nice sized lockers for storing your bags. Breakfast was nice as well. It covers all the bases, but if you are a female traveling alone, I think there are better places to stay.

I've stayed in a ton of hostels and never once left a bad review the staff were super friendly but our private room had a sliding glass door into the main outdoor area, kitchen, and living room that didn't lock so not only was it extremely loud at all hours it was also very stressful to leave our belongings behind. This hostel cost more money than a nice hotel we stayed at in Bariloche so just a bit ridiculous... one bathroom to share and no mirror in the room we couldn't get a good nights sleep

Great stay here. Jorge and team did everything to make sure I felt right at home. They helped book all my tours, even some that were originally sold out. Very clean and cozy. Location was a tad outside of the main area but manageable. Free breakfast is fairly simple but considering the price per night you can’t really complain.

Hostel was quite simple but the staff were amazing and really helpful in organising things!

L’hostel est propre et bien équipé. Le personnel de l’hostel est vraiment charmant, merci beaucoup à eux, et les activités proposées sont très sympa ! Bonus pour le tour en vélo si vous restez 3 nuits : au top ! Les chambres (notamment la 1) sont très mal isolées donc on entend beaucoup le bruit de la rue et des parties communes mais les boules quies aident !

Best place I’ve stayed in South America. Is a simple hostel but excellent managed by the best staff ever!!! Nothing is a problem here! Thank you guys !

Amazing hostel in Mendoza! The most welcoming and friendly staff, good showers and a great social environment. Asados on the terrace on Fridays, everyone there to make you feel involved. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Mendoza

Don’t understand how this hostel has the rating it does. It’s run down, dated, grubby, but worst of all was the mattresses, they need replaced worst we have ever slept on! If you value your sleep don’t stay here, very thin walls, loud music most nights till 2/3am and then again from 7/8am onwards. Super fijn en verbinden personeel . Zeer benaderbaar en prettig in de omgang. De staat van de voorzieningen is wel gedateerd, maar wordt goed schoon gehouden.

Very clean and good facilities for a calm stay. Staff were so helpful and nice. Felt really safe and taken care of. Highly recommend!

Brilliant hostel. A small and cosy hostel with a great atmosphere. Met so many fun people here and the staff were so welcoming and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay here and Mendoza is a great city. Would recommend to any backpackers and wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Extremely nice and helpful staff

The staff were very nice to us however there were a few disappointments. the wifi doesn’t work upstairs in the rooms or in the outdoor area. we signed up for horse riding and then when we had to pay it was 30,000 additional each and they had shown us old prices. we were never provided eggs as listed as part of the breakfast. the beds were uncomfortable and shook so much, no ladders to get on the top bed. showers had very low pressure. definitely an older crowd wouldn’t recommend for young pe...

Excellent hostel with very friendly staff who were always helpful. The hostel is in a very good location to everything in town and in not a too tourist area which is good. I loved all the recommendations of things to do and the promo staying 3 nights at least (feee bike in the wineries area of Maipu). Great place, would high recommended and it haas cost feel to the place!

Awesome stay! Great small hostel with the most helpful staff I’ve ever seen! Comfy beds and close to everywhere and bus stops to go around Mendoza and vineyards area! Thank you Jorge for make my stay enjoyable!!

Very sweet staff! However there are no curtains for the beds and no small shelf/pouch for your belognings whilst in the bed. One of the cleaners seems to be living there, and would stare at us, which was very unpleasant. Paragliding was awesome!
