Wasy Hostel

When I first arrived the hostel smelled so badly of cat urine. I really liked the location and the beds were comfortable. The pool and lounge area was pretty gross as well. The pool had really murky water and there were stains all over the couch from where the cats peed. Ryan at first was nice, however, after I didn’t want to sleep with him, his energy changed and he stopped interacting with me, the energy in the hostel then because hostile and I didn’t feel welcomed. I had to change hostels...

Staff doesn’t exist and paying the hostel is complicated because they don’t accept cash. Atmosphere is a little weird. Beds are comfortable and have bed lamps.

I enjoyed my stay here, was peaceful and not many people staying there which was nice. The atmosphere is lovely. The only thing that could be improved is a greater in the kitchen and a bedside lamp in the bedroom. Overall good value for money. Nice fridge and water filter.

we had a private room with shared bathroom and during our 3 days there, the toilets and showers were not cleaned once. the swimming pool water was also dirty. it was a bit of a shame because the property is a really nice space but the lack of cleaning really let it down. there are bikes you can use for free as part of your stay but during our stay, 2 out of the 3 bikes had punctures/flats so we couldn't use them. very well equipped kitchen with everything youd ever need for cooking

Prima hostel dichtbij t strand en supermarkt, Gabriël is super aardig en altijd behulpzaam, wij kwamen om 07:00 ‘s ochtends aan en konden gewoon naar binnen.

Wir hatten eine gute Zeit im Wasy Hostel. Als wir dort waren, hatte es gerade eine Woche geöffnet. Die Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Küche gut ausgestattet und es ist sauber. Nur im Zimmer hätten wir uns eine zusätzliche Ablage gewünscht.

Really cool, clean, small and modern hostel. The kitchen is amazing. Great vibe, really good bunk beds and a lot of bathrooms.

It was an amazing stay. The pool and garden are in the sun from 8am till 4pm. there is enough room to have your own space if needed. the kitchen is very well equipped and whilst we were there many items were upgraded. highly recommend

Wasy hostel is a gem located in a surf town with amazing waves. Wasy has hot showers (perfect for after surf), free drinking water (strangely rare, but always appreciated), a lovely kitchen to cook in, a pool, comfy beds and great people - the owner Gabriel and the volunteers are always on hand to help out however possible. I chose to extend my stay as I was enjoying it so much. Recommend fully ! :)

Loved Wasy! My only reason for not giving a 10 is I was on the 3rd floor and the only bathrooms and showers are on the 1st floor otherwise everyone and everything is amazing!

Awesome place to stay, really clean and comfortable. Lovely people working in the hostel too.

This is such a cool hostel, the check in is remote through your phone and there are volunteers here to help with things. There is a pool that is great to relax in and read by. The kitchen is really nice and clean, and there are cats here too which are super cute. Would highly recommend staying here :)

´I took a nightbus the day i checked out but could leave all my things at the hostel in a locker and chill at the hostel until i had to leave. Theres also laundry available which saved me plus two very friendly cats. The pool area is a major plus for me an is very nicely done. Overall the atmosphere was very much like being in my own living room and garden and the location was perfect for everything that i did in town.

Very nice place! The hostel is modern and well organised. The owner gave us lots of useful information about the town and what to do. We really enjoyed our stay!

Nice spot, realy clean and good treat from the owner. Perfect location, will return for sure!
