Good hostel- nice and clean! Nice beds and breakfast is great. Good location too!

Top homestay. Het ligt iets verder buiten het centrum, maar dat is de service helemaal waard. De eigenaren zijn super betrokken en willen je erg graag helpen. De kamers zijn enorm en schoon.

We stayed here for a short stay. Immediately we were met by the owner and his lovely family who were all very welcoming. They served a lovely home cooked meal to us and made us feel very welcome. We rented bicycles and had them for the whole day. The room was clean and well equipped for our stay. We had to make a last minute change and leave early before our second night. The owners organised a quick last minute ride to the city - which was incredibly helpful.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! Hugo and his wife were always smiling, kind, and welcoming- letting me check in at 3 AM with no extra charge and even lending me a bicycle for free. They suggested and organized caving trips, helped book my bus, and dropped me at the bus stand as if I were family. They constantly checked if I was comfortable, making me feel completely at home. The cozy dorm beds, delicious breakfast, and their warmth made my stay truly unforgettable!☺️Definitely Recommen...

Wir haben uns jederzeit sehr wohl gefühlt in Hugos Homestay! Es war sehr sauber und die Zimmer sehr schön und die Betten gemütlich. Wir sind ungeplant viel zu früh in der Nacht angekommen, trotzdem hat Hugo uns herzlich in empfang genommen und hatte spontan schon eine Nacht früher Platz für uns. Wir konnten auch einen Roller bei ihm mieten und uns wurden immer alle Fragen sehr nett beantwortet.

Lovely and relaxing little oasis. The staff were so helpful and kind, the owner of the property gave us a ride to the bus station himself free of charge. Clean pool and clean rooms. About a twenty minute walk away from the center of phong nha which was quite perfect, keeping things walkable but also allowing us to stay out of the noises and smells and of the center.

The hostel looks nice with the pool area. The owner was really helpful but unfortunately the dorm rooms are incredibly damp, they smell damp and all our stuff was damp by the morning. They do try to air it out but it’s not pleasant. It’s also a 20 min walk from town and eerily quiet. Breakfast was nice though!

Kann Unterkunft empfehlen! Sie könnte etwas zentraler gelegen sein aber die Betten waren an sich sehr sauber. Schimmel gab es keinen nur das Bad hat etwas gestunken. Für warmes Wasser muss man einen Schalter umlegen. Die Familie war aber super süß und das Frühstück sehr gut.

lovely hostel run by an even lovelier family. Hugo was always available when you needed him and went above and beyond. the room was a bit humid.

Super Homestay! Sind recht spät angekommen und wir haben trotzdem noch etwas zu essen bekommen. Auch wurden wir vom Bus abgeholt! Die Zimmer waren sehr schön groß, Betten super gemütlich. Generell super netter und süßer Host, welche uns vieles an Tipps geben konnte! Auf jeden Fall nochmal hin!

Proper nice bloke, sorted us bikes and a plan of what to do there. Free breakfast was unreal, will definitely recommend!

Hugo’s was a nice stay. We booked the private room and it was big clean and nice. Everything worked great except the shower was little finicky to get hot water (big over head one was better). There wasn’t a big social atmosphere, but Hugo makes you feel right at home. Helping book transportation and offer free bikes!

We really enjoyed our stay. The dorm but super spacious, very clean (and the beds had curtains). It is a bit further from town but that makes it also a very quiet place and you can easily walk to the shops and restaurants. It is not the most social but you can definitely meet people at the family dinner (which is delicious, the portions are so big and they serve veggi and vegan food too). Hugo and his family are also the nicest people. He will help you with everything.

Amazing family hostel. They offer transfer from a bus. My room was huge and really spacious. It’s a bit distant from the city center but you can get a scooter or a bike there. Walk is not that long as well.
