Golondrinas Hostel

Hostel was okay, most annoying thing is the men didn’t really have a bathroom like the woman’s. Had to walk outside, no mirrors etc. staff lovely, all felt safe

Nice and reasonably priced hostel not too far from the centre. Room was warm at night but that's Iquitos. Main issue was wifi doesn't extend to the room but otherwise was comfortable enough, especially considering the price. Staff are friendly!

Staff are lovely and super helpful! The private room is pretty basic but okay for the price. It could use a renovation. I didn’t see anyone there during my stay so can’t say much about the vibe. The pool is nice and clean!

I was upgraded on arrival to twin room with ensuite bathroom so very happy. The pool is clean and great in the hot weather. No filter water however supermarket is 2 blocks away and has all the needs. Lovely staff, small courtyard area and nice to have access to their kitchen

Für das Geld kann man nicht mehr verlangen. Für 1 Nacht ok. Taxi zum Flughafen kostet 40 Soles Positiv: die Fenster haben Fliegengitter, Personal sehr nett (sie hatten meine Buchung für einen anderen Tag eingetragen aber haben mir noch ein Zimmer gegeben)

Plus chambre d hôte que Hostel, parfait pour juste dormir mais aucune ambiance. Hôtes polis mais assez froids, chambres et lit confortables ! Douches chaudes et sécurité au top. A 10min à pied du centre, quartier ok.

Basic facilities but good enough for a night or two. Location is pretty far away from the main square but there are mototaxis roaring past at all hours. For the price, you really can’t beat it!

The staff, especially Herbere who manages the Golondrinas saved the day for me. I was expecting an Uber to the airport at 5:00 am, still dark. The uber didn’t arrive. Herbere was right there when things went wrong and quickly called a taxi which got me to the airport just in time to catch my flight. I will always be grateful to this guy.

A great stay with a refreshing pool, a quiet, chilled vibe, kitchen, and very friendly staff for a brilliant price. Haber was especially helpful with all my questions. It’s just a few minutes’ walk to the main square, and tuk-tuks are easy to catch if needed. I ended up extending my stay by two more nights after a week. Many thanks

Very good, location is further from the main area, but great if you want a private room for one night after the rainforest tour before you leave Iquitos. Staff were very kind and accomodating, hailed a taxi for me to the airport. I appreciate their kindness and hospitality!

Great price! Decent location, 8 blocks from main square. Safe and secure. Barking dogs all night next door. Kitchen available. Could have been cleaner and at least offered coffee. Host not overly friendly. Clean bedding but just one flat pillow.

It is a comfortable and clean enough place. They have a rule about only using the kitchen until 1pm (but as I didn't cook there, I am not sure if they enforce it). The location is about 15 min from the main square. The family who owns the place seem very nice.

This hostel is very clean, the kitchen is well equipped, the staff are very nice, the pool is clean and very nice to have in the Iquitos heat! They helped me organise my jungle tour - which was amazing and even upgraded me from the dorm to a private bedroom as a group of people were meant to arrive to the dorm in the early hours of the morning - I thought that was just so kind and considerate of them to move me! The supermarket is 2 blocks away and there are many places to eat nearby!

Nice, comfortable and well cleaned room with a good fan. Staff were super friendly and booked us a taxi from the airport.

We stayed the night before heading to the airport. The owners were kind booking us a taxi in the early morning, and then letting us back in to chill when our flight was delayed.

Bon emplacement, piscine agréable, auberge calme ambiance familiale dans une petite maison, hôtes accueillants. Merci beaucoup :)
